WORTH IT
It’s now been 3 weeks since my surgery and any swelling has now subsided even though there is still a numbness in my face which I know from past experience is quite normal.
I had my haircut yesterday and apart from saying how well I looked the hairdresser didn’t notice any scaring or signs of surgery
I will do an update in a few months

It’s now 2 weeks since my operation and there is very little swelling now if any
My life is back to normal but with a fresher and rejuvenated face .
I am delighted with the results of my surgery and lots of my friends have commented on my quick recovery and the results Dr Waterhouse has achieved with my face
I will update more photos at a later date and I hope my journal will be of interest and help to anyone else thinking about facial surgery

AMAZING! The results are great but the fact that you looked so good 2 days post is unbelievable! I must admit when I saw all those stitches it looked scary but the results are amazing. You look like you are in your 50s. Gosh I am in my 50s and I wish I looked that good!

I know , the only problem I had was sleeping propped up with pillows.
The hospital sent me home with 5 days of prescription painkillers but I didn't feel the need to take them. I did take some paracetamol over the first 7 days as sometimes I felt a bit headachy but that was all.
I am fit and healthy which helps and have always taken vitamin c and had a good diet with lots of walking and some exercise and I was out and about from day 4 really.
