After my first consultation with Mr Waterhouse, I did actually go see three others as I was initially put off by the haemostatic net facelift, but something pushed me to go and see Mr Waterhouse again for a second consult and then and there I felt this was the right choice. The operation itself went like a dream; the hospital was wonderful; I actually wished I could have stayed longer. Straight away, the results looked amazing. I truly wondered what had taken me so long to bite the bullet and do it. Although it hasn't all been plain sailing, the healing process is an absolute roller coaster with moods changing as often as my face, and I know I must have driven Mr Waterhouse potty at times... (Sorry) It's been just over five months now, and I'm so happy to say it finally seems to be settling down wonderfully. I had very deep work done to my chin/neck, so the swelling has been pretty bad, but I'm finally seeing the face that I saw in the first few weeks after surgery before the healing process had actually even really began. I'm so happy with my results. I can't recommend Mr Waterhouse highly enough; he is a truly gifted surgeon and a wonderful man.
Absolutely incredible results from the amazing Mr Waterhouse. My whole experience was superb from start to finish. Mr Waterhouse’s work is brilliant. I look younger and fresher with a beautiful sharp jawline like I used to have. None of my friends can put their finger on why I look so good. All of my scars are hidden in my hairline and behind my ears. My husband (who was very dubious at first) thinks that Mr Waterhouse is a miracle worker. Furthermore his team including the wonderful Karen are so lovely. Mr Waterhouse treated me with such kindness and respect, listened to my million questions and managed my expectations. By the time the day of surgery came around I was actually just so excited and ready because of the way I had been looked after in the lead up. I thought that I would be petrified but I was quite the opposite. My whole experience was so incredibly positive. I can’t praise Mr Waterhouse and his team enough.
I have undergone a bilateral breast reduction with Mr Waterhouse and he has been nothing but amazing. I can’t fault him in any way. My breasts are absolutely perfect, he’s taken the mental picture I had in my head and made it reality. I have suffered all my teenage and young adult life with large, droopy breasts. My breasts are healing so well, no issues. His bedside manner was impeccable and I was a very nervous and teary patient. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone considering a breast reduction.
I had breast augmentation with Mr Waterhouse in December from start to finish the whole process has been seamless, the consultations were on time and I had as many as I needed until I was 100% comfortable in our sizing decisions. He has achieved exactly what I was after and I couldn't be happier! Updated on 19 Jan 2020: Before and after 4.5 weeks
It is now 5 years since my last facial procedure and as I am soon to be 70 I booked a consultation with Norman Waterhouse at his new rooms in South Kensington 4weeks ago. For me personally I like to get my face ‘fixed ‘ every 5 /6 years or so rather than having high maintenance Botox or fillers but that’s just my own preference After a lengthy discussion with Mr Waterhouse On the various options available at present I decided on a mini facelift with nanofat transfer which a friend who lives in Capetown had recently with very good results I checked into the Wellington Hospital on 19 th February 2019 for an overnight stay The operation went well and I can honestly say I wasn’t in any pain at all just some discomfort sleeping sitting up in bed Home in a taxi with my meds to rest and now the photo results will speak for themselves Updated on 28 Feb 2019: I had my first facelift with Dr Waterhouse 26 years ago and have always considered myself very fortunate to have found him when I did Since then I have returned to him over the years for various facial procedures including laser and a chemical peel and a facelift 5 years ago I like the natural look he is able to achieve and have always been extremely happy with his honesty on what to expect afterwards My daughter who is now 50 has also had a few minor procedures by him and will certainly go to Norman if and when she feels she needs a facelift etc I have always considered him to be the best in his field and can’t praise his work and ethics enough Also thanks to his PA Karen and his new nurse Karen for their support and genuine caring attitude and I would like to wish Nurse Hoppy a very well earned and happy retirement I will continue to update photos of my facial journal and hope that my reviews help anyone out there considering surgery You are never too old and I think I am living proof of that Updated on 28 Feb 2019: My daughter and friends are all amazed at the wonderful results of my surgery and how quickly my recovery has been . I would like to say that I did everything Dr Waterhouse advised before my surgery. I took Arnica 6 tablets for a week before and continued after with Arnica cream on my face night and morning. I am also using Heal cream which Dr Waterhouse and other surgeons developed some years ago. i also kept witch hazel diluted 50% with water in my fridge and dabbed it on my face frequently in the first week . I hope this helps anyone else who is thinking of having similar procedures Updated on 3 Mar 2019: I am so happy with the results of my surgery at 70 My face is still a little numb which is to be expected Updated on 6 Mar 2019: It’s now 2 weeks since my operation and there is very little swelling now if any My life is back to normal but with a fresher and rejuvenated face . I am delighted with the results of my surgery and lots of my friends have commented on my quick recovery and the results Dr Waterhouse has achieved with my face I will update more photos at a later date and I hope my journal will be of interest and help to anyone else thinking about facial surgery Updated on 13 Mar 2019: It’s now been 3 weeks since my surgery and any swelling has now subsided even though there is still a numbness in my face which I know from past experience is quite normal. I had my haircut yesterday and apart from saying how well I looked the hairdresser didn’t notice any scaring or signs of surgery I will do an update in a few months
The whole process was very professional and the operation went really well he did an amazing job on my nose it’s completely straight and perfect! I’m so happy with the results couldn’t have got a better Surgeon would 100% recommend
I had a breast enlargement 4 months ago with MyBreast. The process from start to finish was fantastic and extremely professional. I started the journey back in November, by attended a consultation. Dr Waterhouse, my consultation was fabulous, so professional, he make me feel so welcome, put me at easy with the process and make me feel comfortable within my body before and after. They booked me in for my surgery in March and I can not thank Dr Waterhouse and the nurses who looked after me enough! The nurses held my hand and comforted me when I cried before the surgery, as I was so nervous! The surgery went perfectly with no complications. After the surgery I was cared for by the nurse who ensured I felt no pain and was comfortable. Ive felt no pain from the moment I woke up after the surgery, to this day I’ve still felt no pain. I could feel them on my chest, they felt heavy for a couple of days, and I couldn’t left my arms above my shoulders, but within two weeks I’d forgot they were there, return to work and was back to driving. I couldn’t be happier either the results, I’m completely in love with my new breasts and the scares are basically invisible. I have complete confidence in my new breasts/body it’s exactly what I wanted! I also returned to see the nurses shortly (5days) after the surgery to have the dressing removed, I then visited Dr Waterhouse after 2 weeks for a review and again at 3 months. I don’t need to go back as everything went so well, but Dr Waterhouse said I can returned whenever for another review or if anything happens. I would highly recommend MyBreast to anyone looking to under go a breast enlargement or any other surgery and I would definitely go back to MyBreast if I consider any other surgery. Their service went beyond my expectations.
Fantastic facelift and good service. Having seen many of my patients results with surgeons from around the world I decided to go to NW. Hes v experienced, medically v safe and technically it was fantastic. Its the first surgery on the face I ever had and I think it will last for a long time . Its a tasteful look and it returned the feminine shape to my post menopause face and really freshened me up. The op and recovery however are quite brutal from this procedure . I dont suppose people talk about it much ! It really requires 3 weeks recovery and its quite uncomfortable for the first 4 days .
I had a fantastic experience with Mr Waterhouse. Prior to my inital consultation I met with another surgeon and didn't feeling nearly as at ease as I did with Mr Waterhouse. The whole experience was a breeze, I felt confident that Mr Waterhouse knew exactly the look I wanted to go for which meant going in for my surgery I wasn't worried about them not being big enough or looking fake. I am almost five weeks post op and I am so happy with my new boobs and I don't regret a thing! Great surgeon and great hospital (Spire Clare Park).
Like many women I have seen in here I have been thinking about Breast implants for a while, I am a 34B would like to be a full C. I checked and reviewed a number of well known UK plastic surgeons and eventually decided on MyBreast , My surgeon will be Dr Norman Waterhouse. The reason I choose MyBreast, was how professional and at ease they made me feel, and the location of the clinic. Just 10 miles from where I live. I have had my pre-op meeting with Dr Warehouse, I feel that I am In good hands , so to speak, he was very honest about the pro's and con's of the procedure. He helped me to decide on size by trying on different Bras with different size implants which made it easy for me to decide on the 350cc. My op is in 10 days. I will post some pre op picks closer to the time as well as post op, and how it all went. ???? Wish me luck Updated on 7 Jan 2018: So starting to get a little nervous. I had a call from the clinic two days ago , about the procedure, do's and dont's mainly around when to eat and drink before surgery. The following day I received some paper work from the clinic in the post which I had to complete and send back. I guess doing this sparked the nerves a bit. I am still looking forwards to it, a little anxious about how I may feel after, especially as I am a bit older , I do wonder if it will make my recovery a bit longer. I have posted some before pics , I will post some post Op as soon as I am able. Eeekkkkk wish me luck Updated on 12 Jan 2018: I have been feeling fine about my Op tomorrow, until my work day finished , and I thought, oh blimey suddenly it's here, one more sleep ???? suddenly started feeling a bit nervous , so had a small glass of Presecco, calmed things down a bit, now looking forward to it. Some pics pre Op I'm a 34B , more to follow Post op. Updated on 16 Jan 2018: So did it ???? the whole going under thing was fine , it was the feeling sick after which was not so nice, no pain just really nauseaus and wobbly on my feet. The nurse gave me an anti sickness tablet which, ironically made me sick, but felt so much better after. First day post opp I was shuffling around , Still feeling a bit sick but no pain just sore, i have managed with paracetamol and ibuprofen, they did give me some stronger meds if i needed them, the side affects of which were nausea, thankfully , did not need them. Day 3 now and feeling more myself, I can lift my arms , I just can't squeeze them together, things like opening jars or anything that needs pressure to close is hard, lifting is easier. Only real discomfort I'm finding is at night when trying to sleep. As you have to sleep on your back I have found my shoulder blades are getting sore, I suspect from the additional weight of the implants , plus the muscle inside repairing may have something to do with it. I have added some additional pics, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Updated on 16 Jan 2018: Pics didn't load so 2nd attempt ???? Updated on 29 Jan 2018: Two weeks already, and feeling pretty good. Still sleeping on my back but no discomfort now so alot easier to nod off. Starting to do some gental yoga, I had my post op catch up with my surgeon who said I can return to light swimming, which is great , I usually do 80 lengths a session , advised to take it slow with 20, I'm swimming sooner than I thought which is great as I thought my recovery may take longer due to my age , but does not seem to be the case. My breast will probably drop a little more,They are still a bit hard , I like them as they are now. I will post a few more pics in a few weeks. I was a small B, at the moment I'm a nice D but my surgeon said they may reduce a bit, so not to buy any new bras just yet ???? Updated on 29 Jan 2018:
You are young for a face lift but you could consider an isolated deep neck lift. This would involve volume reduction in the neck and treatment of salivary glands deep fat and digastric muscle. It could be done with a single neck incision. The procedure involves a longer recovery period than a standard face lift.
Sorry but I don't think an implant would work for you and may result in a less aesthetic appearance and store up more problems for the future. Have a few consultations a see what the range of scars look like. Doing nothing is also a reasonable option.
These are prolapsed lacrimal glands and a blepharoplasty will not help. They can be repositioned inside the orbital rim through a lateral incision. It is important to see someone who is experienced in this procedure.
It is fine to do the procedures at the same time. The breast surgery should be done first to avoid any possibility of cross contamination.
I cant see very well from the picture but I think you may have a lacrimal gland prolapse. If this is confirmed by examination, you would need another procedure carried out through an eyelid incision to reposition the gland. See someone with a lot of ophthalmic experience.
