Botched My Face, Ruined Eyes, Uneven Fat Bulges

Words cannot express the atrocity Andres Sarraga caused to my face. Sarraga took it upon himself to go rogue and ruin every single facial feature on my face by adding exorbitant amounts of fat in arguably all the wrong places based on my results and per my consultations with experienced facial plastic surgeons after my botched procedure with Sarraga. I received feedback from other plastic surgeons stating that they could not believe Sarraga was Board Certified, they explained Sarraga has no concept of a 3-dimensional face, another one could not believe I had this procedure in the United States. I have spent a year doing multiple costly surgeries since it is not easy for any plastic surgeon to address and revise almost every single facial feature of a person’s face and most reputable plastic surgeons didn’t want to have anything to do with attempting to correct such a botched face. I have had to mostly hide for over a year and my face is still a botched mess due to Sarraga. Most notably, Andres Sarraga caused ptosis to my eyelids so I could hardly keep my eyelids open without strain and I have already had to do 2 corrective surgeries to address this one area. Ironically, he claims to fix eyelids and eyebrows on his website. I have had to do many more numerous surgeries to try to address all the asymmetrical fat bulges he added all over my face. As an example, he added 3.5 times the amount of fat on my left cheek than right cheek and I was left with a huge mispositioned tumor of fat on the left side of my face. All the fat Sarraga added to my cheeks now pulls the outer corners of my eyes downward. He clearly did not have enough knowledge of the face to consider all the secondary consequences of his extensive damage to my face. I had a tight youthful face for my age and now have loose skin, uneven fat bulges and distorted facial features. He destroyed my jawline and chin by adding uneven bulges of fat to my chin so my right side drooped further than my left and then added significant jowls to my face when I had none. He added so much fat to create jowls that the uneven fat lips he added are still pulled downward on the ends so that I look sad and angry all of the time. I look many years older and in my opinion, like I gained around 100 pounds. My face is still a disaster, but has slightly improved due to the help of and experience of a real cranio facial surgeon.
The worst part of Sarraga is that based on my personal experience with him, he consistently lies, refuses to take responsibility for anything, and has no empathy. On my follow-up visits, he gaslit me and stated on multiple occasions that he was “more concerned with what was going on up there” than the results. ( I'm concerned with “what is going up there” when this man is performing surgeries.) For months, he tried to dismiss my concerns by stating I was just swollen, contrary to his website and experienced surgeons that claimed swelling lasts about a month. On my initial follow-up visit, I complained about all the fat he added to my forehead which masculinized it along with everything else. He lied and said he did not add fat to my forehead contrary to my still existing uneven fat bulges in that area and brow area and contrary to my medical records. (I understand Sarraga went to medical school in Puerto Rico, but he should know the definition of a forehead in English and its location on the face.) He had discussed adding a small amount of fat in my almost undetectable undereye hollows and he placed large fat bulges millimeters below this area and caused me to have still existing huge eyebags. During afollow-up visit, Sarraga stated that I asked for the undereye eyebag creating fat bulges…you can’t begin to imagine how disrespectful and abusive this man is…
Do not go by what he states on Sarraga's website or what he or his staff represent to you. Sarraga finally admitted to most of the damage he caused to the various areas of my face and that he had never done my procedure as a standalone procedure. Imagine how misleading he, his staff and website were to me. Sarraga agreed to refund my money for the procedure, but then refused to give me the refund unless I came to his office to sign a release which he refused to let me review in advance. He clearly wanted to get away with botching my face and one can only assume he tries this very often given his mostly positive reviews. I still have not received a refund. If you have a similar experience, please write reviews and report Sarraga to the Florida Department of Health to save others from this man. After my procedure, I noticed a Google review where daughter explains how Sarraga botched her mother’s eyes in July 2020 and Sarraga took no responsibility. If I had come across that review, it would have saved me a year of hell and likely a lifetime of trying to fix Sarraga’s distortion of my face. I've learned from attorneys that I am not Sarraga's first facial victim.
