I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Erman Ak and his entire team.
Traveling from the United States to Istanbul for face and neck surgery was honestly one of the scariest decisions I have ever made. I was nervous about traveling to another country, having surgery so far from home, and putting my trust in someone I had only followed on Instagram. However, after seeing Dr. Ak’s beautiful results and speaking with his team, I decided to take the leap—and I am so grateful that I did.
From the moment I arrived, everything was handled with such professionalism and care. The clinic is beautiful, modern, and spotless. Before surgery, they performed extensive testing and would not proceed until they were certain all of my results were normal. That attention to detail immediately made me feel safe and reassured that my health was their top priority.
After surgery, I stayed in the clinic for two nights and received exceptional care from the nursing staff. Every nurse was kind, attentive, and compassionate. My husband stayed with me during my recovery, and the staff even made sure he had meals as well. It was such a thoughtful touch that showed how much they truly care about their patients and families.
One of the things I appreciated most was how easy they made the entire experience. Transportation, accommodations, appointments—everything was organized for me. I never had to worry about logistics and could focus entirely on my recovery.
Even after I was discharged, the care did not stop. The team checked on me every single day, asked for photos, monitored my healing, and promptly answered any questions I had. Being so far from home, that level of follow-up meant the world to me and gave me tremendous peace of mind.
