Extremely disappointed

Here I am almost 2 year later. Lower lift, neck lift and upper blepharoplasty by Dr. Henry Mentz in Houston, Texas. One of my eyes is now smaller in size. Ask me anything! Extremely unhappy w results. Be mindful of who you choose for any surgery.

Hi there, what happend with your red cappilares you wrote about one year ago (upper eye lid) did it fade away? If yes, how long did you wait and did you take any cream? Thank you in advance
Hi Maximillian! My eyelids continue to have the red capillaries. I don't focus on that aspect much because I'm accustomed to it being it's over a year (1 year 5 months) Sometimes I put eye makeup on or some powder on them if I'm going to something nice.
It's good to hear it's no longer bothering you. Can I still ask again? Has it improved slightly over time? Was there redness that got better?
Hi Maximillian, I ont feel like the redness on my eyelids have changed much if any. It was very noticeable to me in the beginning perhaps because I had a laser treatment on my face(not eyelids) that left my skin really light BD the broken capillaries really stood out. I also am more focused on he fact that my eyes ar not symmetrical bc the surgeon cut one of them higher(not in the crease) than the other eye which is lot more to deal with than the broken capillaries. Just curious why you are concerned with this? Did you just get a similar procedure?
Hi- Can I ask what all did you do to your neck? Lipo? J Plasma? or just a lift? also, if you dont mind me asking approx how old are you? your skin overall looks great!!!!
Hello Considerate! No lipo, I actually have a thin neck. Just a neck lift and I'm approaching 60. Thanks for the skin compliment!

Still swollen

He a face/neck lift almost 2 months ago. Still very swollen, scabs behind my ears and on my head that aren't going anywhere. Also had upper blepharoplasty and one o my incision is not in the crease (but the other eye is) my eyelid will not open all the way (wondering if I now have Ptosis) incision is visible and purple. By the evening my eyelid feels heavy, as if it's sewn down, or a nerve or muscle was cut. My PS refuses o accept anything is wrong!!! I'm embarrassed by my small eye. I purchased pricey scar cream that hasn't made a bit of a difference. Anyone have similar problems? I have friends who had same surgeries, different doctors, and they had no problems and weren't swollen after 2 weeks. I now have anxiety over something that was to be positive!

You are absolutely correct. No responsibility and attempts to ignore the fact that my eyes are not symmetrical after his upper blepharoplasty. Also, the eye he cut wrong continually tears now.
You definitely have ptosis. There is a surgery to correct it. I was born with ptosis in one eyelid and had the surgery, which fixed it nicely. No cream will help it. I did read something about a new eyedrop which may help (I don't recall the name of it.)
Hi! Yes, I have Ptosis confirmed. I went to a oculoplastic surgeon who confirmed it and did he oils try to fix it, but no guarantee and it oils make it worse. This is Ptosis caused by DR. HENRY MENTZ OF HOUSTON TEXAS and being his botched upper blepharoplasty caused this PTOSIS it's different than naturally occurring ptosis. And yes, the eye drops work for 8 ish hours UPNEEQ and cause my blood pressure to become very elevated, 195/100 so very inefficient and dangerous to use. Also pricey $150 for 30 applications.
This must be soooo disappointing. I would be furious that the Dr. refuses any responsibility. I'm curious why you chose him ... I don't see any grading of him next to his pic here.
Hi! I chose DR. HENRY MENTZ WHO BOTCHED ME because I had heard of him being good. I thought I remembered a client of mine ping to him 15 years ago and had great results, but after what he did to me, I think I'm mistaken of who my client had surgery with. And now I'm 2 years 1 month out and my lower face is already showing signs of sagging. So not only do I have a messed up eye(PTOSIS) but my face and neck are sagging.
