My face was still droopy and you can still see my jowls

Please Be Very Careful
Let me start off by saying this review is of my specific experiences and results and is being written to try to help someone else from wasting time and money.
I am 42 years old and at about 38 due to life circumstances I started seeing a rapid aging of my face so about a year ago I stared looking into having “work done” I came across Dr. Harleys page on Instagram and then started researching him on realself.
I liked the pictures and decided to call for a consult, I then asked for pricing and took out a loan for the procedure. I know many may have the money on hand for this procedure but as a single/divorced parent I didn’t. I scheduled my surgery for February 2021 right after my birthday and paid my deposit.
Unfortunately my family contracted covid I almost passed was hospitalized for 3 weeks and my mother passed due to this illness. The grief as illness took even more of a toll on my face and on top of all I was going thorough I had to deal with hating what insane in the mirror.
Dr Harley’s office was kind enough to reschedule and keep my prices as we had discussed when I booked (even though his prices increased) which I was thankful for.
The problem is this, I had my consult with de Harley and explained my main issue was the saggy look of my face and my Jowls, he assured me I would see gray improvement. On the day of my surgery I showed him áreas of concern and even asked if he could over correct to please do so that I rather see “too much pulling then not enough”.
Once I went in for bandage removal my disappointment began, all I saw was what looked like a neck lift the rest of my face was still droopy and you can still se my jowls.
I am from out of state so I kept in contact often with dr Harley following his instructions to the letter. 3 months have passed and I still look and feel extremely disappointment, when I express this to Dr. Harley he simply said people with heavy cheeks sometimes don’t have the best results and maybe in a year and a half you’ll see improvement?!!!!!
If from the beginning he stated, you have big cheeks you’ll see almost no improvement I would not have taken out a 7 year loan to pay for my procedure. I am so saddened that after all the tragedy that’s happened in my life in the past year I also feel like I was robbed of money I will need to pay for the next 7years with almost no result.
No one that knows me who has seen me (and didn’t know about the surgery) has said… wow you look good or different or even rested! NOTHING at all.
I know these things are “at your own risk” but in the before and after pictures from Dr. Harley himself you see no difference from before and after, yet this doctor outbox good conscience didn’t say sorry I couldn’t help you more and that now you have scaring for no reason with no results I’ll refund you the money (not because he has to, but because it’s the right thing for a reputable doctor to do if he knows the results were not there).
I am not writing out of anger and I have all the texts messages between the doctor and myself as well as the before and after pictures to prove what I am saying.
The reason for this review is to hopefully help someone else that doesn’t have the funds to waste and can really know what to ask during consult and to make sure this is the right doctor if you have “bigger cheeks”.
I’ve seen several before and afters on Dr. Harleys page with women with big cheeks which showed a vast improvement but for some reason my results are not there and now I have to pay for it for 7 years and won’t even have the funds to go elsewhere and try to have a better result.
If anyone has bigger cheeks and needs to see what I am talking about please reach out to me as I chose not to post my pictures for my privacy but also for embarrassment of the non existent results or lack thereof.
