Hair loss after surgery
My hair loss has been a real concern for me. The shedding has stopped. I started using supplements for hair. Slowly growing some. But it definitely will never be the same. I have to wear hats a lot now when I go out.

The before and afters
I can’t believe I forgot to post the doctors before and after pictures. I hope they help! They were great to see. It was not cheap but I think feeling better about myself was worth it.

You look absolutely fantastic! I love RealSelf. I've had two surgeries and it's been so helpful. I don't live too far from you and was curious about your doctor.

Doctor appointment
Recently had a doctors appointment. I asked him about the hard bumps on either side of my neck as pictured in my scar update. He told me those were stitches where the muscle was pulled up and they will eventually dissolve and won’t be seen. He also gave me an injection on either side of the back of my ears to help with healing. They were sore. They still are but not nearly as bad.
I hope I have helped in someway anyone who is thinking about doing this.
