Kasden did a full facelift procedure on me about 13 months ago. . I am is scared for life. Physically and emotionally. $15K!
I was in surgery for almost 8 hours!
Long story short, I have a huge burn looking scar on my cheek. One side of my neck hangs down too! And behind both ears ..bad scars! And there is a small nick on my face that wasn't there before surgery. When I went back to see what can be done, its like .. give it time and do some laser. We did at his office later and he didnt even cover the costs. Wish we would have researched him better prior to. It's going to be a long expensive journey to repair, the best we can, my face.

the worst I have ever seen. you must find a qualified facial plastic surgeon to help you. so sorry. yikes!
Disagreements aside, I feel for this person who has an early, unsatisfactory scar.
It is important to understand that facelift surgery does carry risk of poor scarring. Although this is not that common, it does occur.
The best way to avoid complications from this or any procedure is to be compliant with doctor's instructions.
Fortunately, with time (over about a year or so), these scars should heal and improve greatly. If needed, scar revision surgery can be performed in the office to great effect, with minimal discomfort and recovery.
If you are a compliant patient, in good health, and have a mature/supportive partner, and want to get facial rejuvenation, this story should not scare you.
