Response to Dr. Laverson

Responding to Dr. Laverson's reply to my review: Dr. Laverson already did a revisionary surgery on my eyelids which resulted in a worse outcome (as shown in the photos I posted); he also revised my lip lift which did not fix that problem. I really wasn't about to go back for a third try on either my eyelids or lip. The fact that my eyes don't close is a serious medical issue with lasting consequences. I asked Dr. Laverson to pay for the cost of having an expert fix this problem either through paying the new surgeon directly or reimbursing me for what I paid him but he was unwilling to do anything other than another performing revision himself. I did not opt for that, as it could result in an even worse outcome.

Dr. Laverson is very committed to patient satisfaction and working with patients until they are satisfied. So much so that if there is ever a legitimate medical or aesthetic problem, he is willing to reoperate for free if a patient is not happy with their results. That said, the vast majority of outcomes fall within the projected range presented during the consultation.

Sad and Problematic Outcome. Not Recommended.

Terrible and sad experience with Dr. Laverson. Please don't let this man touch your face! I had a lower facelift, with a satisfactory result. BUT he also did an upper blepharoplasty and then had to re-do it due to his own surgical error. Now one eye does not close (the other barely closes,) I have terrible chronic dry eye and my vision is seriously impacted. In addition, my eyes are noticeably asymmetrical. He also did a lip lift that ruined my nose and my smile, but I'll write a separate review for that. When I discussed these issues with him, he said I look great, and that I came to him to change my appearance (!!!) and that asymmetry is normal. I have a copy of his notes in which he confirms the problems he now denies. I feel disfigured and embarrassed, and have problems with my vision as a consequence of Dr. Laverson's work. I thought he was a nice man, but he lacks the integrity to take responsibility for his work. Do not let him touch your face!
