Nightmare continues
This is my forehead scar after 9 months. I will never be able to wear my hair up without a revision.

demetri ruined my life
Horrible experience from start to finish. The only thing that went well was the phone consultation, during which, as it later turned out, Demetri lured me in by making empty promises.
He failed me in every possible way. He spent less than two minutes with me before surgery, did not map my face, and did not discuss the length and placement of the incisions. I was put to sleep before I could ask all the questions. I had a facelift, neck lift, and hairline lowering.
My neck lift is nonexistent; there's no difference between the before and after. He made my ears uneven; the right ear is much lower than the left one. The tragus is flattened with a complete loss of natural shape. He put extreme tension around the ears that led to skin necrosis, significant scarring, redness, pain, and reduced range of motion to this day, six months after the operation. I still haven't returned to work because of the ongoing pain.
He failed to close my forehead and sideburn incisions. He resutured my forehead four times over the course of a few weeks, using dissolvable stitches that left prominent scarring. After the fourth resuturing attempt failed, I got fed up with his incompetence and went to another surgeon for proper wound closure and management.
He also promised to manually remove cheek filler and didn't even attempt to do it. There's not even a mention of it in my surgical report. When confronted, he said the filler wasn't in the surgical plane, but he did flush it with an antibiotic solution to eliminate it. How ridiculous.
He books multiple surgeries daily, operates fatigued, and rushes to finish. Hence, such life-ruining results.
He took zero accountability for his mistakes, was arrogant, dismissive, and had an unacceptable bedside manner. He blamed everything on my "slow healing." I had four prior surgeries, and all of them went well and healed well, leaving minimal scarring. It is Demetri that botched me so severely that I am now disfigured and in need of a costly revision.
Aside from the immediate post-up care, suture removal, etc. Demetri's office has never reached out to check on my recovery. Once they have the money, they don't care about the patients.
When I recently asked for my pre-operative pictures, he said he didn't have them. That speaks loud and clear about what kind of doctor he is and what type of practice he runs. He spends more time on social media trying to lure in new patients than taking care of the current ones and maintaining proper records.
Notice his responses to negative reviews; he either ignores them entirely and doesn't bother to respond or denies people's existence just because they were too ashamed to post under their real names. So typical of him: zero accountability.
His self-proclaimed titles: "best in Tampa," renowned surgeon, etc., mean absolutely nothing. He is not even board-certified in plastic surgery.
