Phenomenal Surgeon!
Review of Dr. Susan Tan.
I am a 73 year old man who had a facial surgery performed by Dr. Susan Tan, a plastic surgeon in Honolulu. This is what was done:
Direct brow lift.
Quad blepharoplasty.
Deep plane lower facelift/neck lift.
Facial fat grafting.
I chose Dr. Tan because in addition to her being a plastic surgeon, she is also an ENT, which is advantageous for deep plane facelifts as ENT doctors are used to operate at the level of nerves and ligaments and I was afraid of nerve damage. I am familiar with the recovery from facial surgery because 20 years ago my wife had a SMAS facelift/neck lift, and she was bruised for a long time. But that was not in my case as I had practically no bruising at all and did not require any pain medications. I was a little swollen, but that was about it. After two weeks I was taking strolls outside, was shopping, and doing light housework without any problem.
The results of the surgery exceeded my expectations to such a degree, that I am planning to have full face ablation with a fractional CO2 laser to bring my skin more in line with my rejuvenated face. To say that Dr. Tan is phenomenal is an understatement. She is simply awesome!. See the pictures attached. Two of them were taken before the surgery and the other two on day 50.
