it is still an update with an unhappy ending

Dr. Samir Ghoraba and Dr. Mohamed Yassin closed the last clinic and opened a new one a few days ago - Opal Aesthetics in New Cairo and also started working in Dubai at Quttainah Specialized Hospital. I have hired lawyers and will not rest until I receive adequate compensation.

I am being treated with my medical team at home and will be left with large scars on my face after the necrosis. In addition to all that, the lifting itself was not well done and the left side of the face was not tightened at all and the fat was not removed, so I look like a Picasso painting, tragic and sad.

I will need a lot of money to repair the scars and to do a revision face and neck lift along with rejuvenation of the forehead and eye area as I look same as before - old and dissatisfied. This update is just serious reminder to bypass Dr. Samir Ghoraba and Dr. Mohamed Yassin anywhere in Egypt, Dubai or other Middle Eastern country and look for another surgeon so you don't end up as unlucky as me with multiple injuries and a desperate result.

Face & Neck Lift Nightmare with Dr. Samir Ghoraba

I am a healthy 65-year-old woman who had a Deep Plane Facelift and Neck Lift operation on 19th of September this year. I experienced major complications after the surgery performed by Dr. Samir Ghoraba in Cairo, Egypt (large areas of skin necrosis, large neck abscess and right facial nerve palsy). My recovery will take a very long time.

Skin necrosis and facial nerve palsy were already present during my two-week stay in Cairo. Dr. Samir Ghoraba and his medical team did not inform me any way (verbally or writing) that there was a problem with extensive hematoma that was very visible 48 to 72 hours after the surgery that was necessary to remove in order to avoid these severe complications.

This necrosis caused severe tissue swelling, inflammation and large neck cyst that became an abscess and after I was in sepsis. I was on intravenous antibiotic therapy since I came home for weeks and without prompt action of my medical team who know what would happened to me after all.

Dr. Ghoraba himself, his colleague Dr. Mohamed Yassin or other members of their medical team, did not inform me that there was a risk to my health, nor did they inform me that I had necrosis and partial paralysis of the right side of my face. Every time I asked what was happening to my face, they said that it was a normal part of recovery and that I was only swollen and bruised. They always gave me regular hand cream to apply and moisturize my face.

Dr. Ghoraba was more focused on making videos and taking pictures with me for his social media profiles than he was in the mood to answer my questions. During my stay in Cairo, the necrosis was clearly visible and the stages advanced, but none of the medical staff warned me or did anything to make my condition better.

Currently I am experiencing a very painful and stressful period and the medical team that is currently treating me at my home country says that my treatment will last more than 12 months and that the results are uncertain due to the possibility of large scars.

I do not have any condition or comorbidity that would cause this kind of complications and this is very easy to prove, as I regularly perform my annual check-up and the last was only a few weeks before my operation. I am not a smoker and I do not have diabetes, hypertension or any other chronic condition or medical therapy.

Dr. Samir Ghoraba has fake positive reviews in Google written by him and his team from fake profiles after I left a true negative review with evidence of his horrible work he did to me.

I just want to share my personal experience and Dr. Ghoraba is already informed about my case, he admitted his mistake and offered me shameful compensation which is not covering my surgery and recovery expenses and he blocked me on social media, also he is deleting my review on Google review.

I would like to sincerely advise all women to think carefully and check with their surgeon before the operation so that such complications do not occur. I am a woman who takes care of my health and lead a healthy lifestyle, but I had such a difficult experience.

Apart from the fact that it is painful, great physical and mental pain has been inflicted on me, and I still don't have the strength to think about what the scars will be like after all this and what awaits me, and I am not young...

Instead of enjoying the moments of my second youth after facelift and necklift, I almost every 2 days visit the hospital for a dressing and I can't look in the mirror because I'm afraid of what I'll see.
