Nice Dr with Sub-par Results
Dr Calabria is a nice guy, but his results in my case are questionable. I did the mini lift with him with local anesthetic so I was awake and felt like the procedure was rushed. I've consulted with other Docs about scar revision and they feel his incisions position around the ear was not ideal for concealing the scars and he put too much tension which cause the spreading of the scar. I've attached one photo of my scar at 2.5 months (hopefully it will improve still but 10 weeks is when a really great facelift scar should be very faint). This is sub-par result and other really great surgeons like Dr Jacano in NYC do not have results like this. The lift effect was ok, but not that transformative. Dr Calabria seems to lack attention to detail. In hindsight, he didn't do adequate pre-op planning with photos and detailed discussion of his surgical plan. I would not see him if I had the chance to choose my doctor again. I hope my review is fair. I want to be balanced in my review, I would give my results a C+, not a disaster but really not very impressive.
