3.5 week update
It’s been 3.5 weeks since surgery. I can finally say that I look like I’m 20 years younger. Feeling that I look 20 years younger makes me feel younger. Now that’s the good part.
The downside is that I’m still feeling pressure in and around my ears by the middle of the day. And by the end of the day it becomes very painful. I also miss not doing my strenuous workouts.
At this point the good does outweigh the bad.
I’m so happy that I choose Dr. Harley to do my procedure.

Meltdown aftermath
It is now day 6 and I can’t wait to get my stitches out tomorrow. I’m very fortunate to have been able to recover in a hotel room. The day of surgery and the day after is still a blur. Friday I was very scared and wanted to turn back the clock. How could I only meet the doctor for 15 minutes and agree to plastic surgery? I looked and felt like an alien. How could I give up exercising and dragon boat racing for months for plastic surgery? How could I take money from my much needed savings account for this surgery? How?Why?How?Why?
I did it. No more looking back to How?Why? I did it and I’m going to love looking 20 years younger. I’m going to be able to exercise and dragon boat race again. I’m going to be able to save money again. And very very soon m going to able to enjoy my new - no more tired look. My looks are going to match how I feel to be alive and surrounded by the love of my family and friends that are my family.
