WORTH IT
Hi Everyone. I’m back in a California with the amazing Dr Talei and his staff. I love Dr Talei and his staff. I want to mention some incredible people at the office. Joseph, Kristy, Bea, Esther, Olivia, Jennifer Hollander and of course Dr Talei. Some of the kindest people you ever want to meet.
I’m back for Ptosis repair, some CO 2, more nanofat and profound.
Dr Talei shared my before and afters which I will share with you. These are prior to the procedures I had on a Thursday.
People I can’t even say enough positive things about this Dr and his team. If you’re doing anything, do your face a favor and see this genius dr.

Well I have developed ptosis I’m my left eye. Sometimes it looks a little better and sometimes not. I’ve spoken to Dr Talei and he had prescribed another steroid pack for me which I’ve finished. He said we will see what happens and if need be he will fix it. Dr Talei is very responsive and I’ve been a pain. . It’s so scary after you’ve been damaged previously by another Dr be a you kind of expect the worse. The one thing I have on my side is that Dr Talei is the best of the best. Sooooo... it’s just a healing game... wait and heal.

Everything still looks swollen to me, and from this picture I don't see any discrepancies between both eyes, by that's me :). I think everything looks nice and symmetrical so far. Happy healing!

Hi Jody. I have been following your journey nd have been hoping the absolute best for you!! I understand how emotional this is. That being said, I think you look great. Would you mind telling me if you feel this has helped the texture of your skin? Has it helped w the large pores? I have laser damage too and all the texture problems everyone mentions. What did Dr Emer do to help you? Do you feel he helped?
I have done so many things since the damage and I’m not sure what helped and what hurt. I think my diligent use of really good active skincare helped, laser genesis, and the fully ablative laser by Dr Groff. I do think things look even better after the auralyft by Dr Talei. I also did a bunch of light retinol peels. I’m so sorry this happened to you too.its horrible and happening way to often.
I had face and necklifting and my neck is too tight

9 days ago I have had facelifting and necklifting but still I feel my neck is too tight.
It’s way too early and normal to feel super tight. Things will loosen up but it takes time. I’m 9 weeks out and still feel slightly tight but it has gradually improved. Hey better than feeling saggy right?lol
Your words of patience helped me. I am three weeks from a face lift and blephoplasty my face is tight and eyes still very swollen. Infection in my left eye due to my eye not closing at night. So I have to put an RX of drops and keep it covered 24/7. Go back to the Dr. in 3 days. I have total faith in my Dr. but I do get inpatient. Thank you for sharing your journey.
My friend just did all of this too and I told her” buckle up and get ready for the ride” I will say I am nine weeks out tomorrow and things are starting to settle. I still have quite a bit of numbness and sweating certain areas. I have to get the ptosis that developed in my left eye, through no fault of the dr,fixed. I will say I was also extremely fatigued for about 5 weeks. I did go through the phase, “ what have I done to myself”, but everything passes. I’m sorry to hear about the infection but that too will pass. If you ever feel the need to talk just reach out to me on messenger. I’m here for you.
Hi... I am so sorry you were damaged. It’s just such a horrible thing. I had nanofat all over my face. It is supposed to repair. At this point I have not noticed much difference in texture. I’m sorry. Texture does seem almost impossible to fix.
Did you try Accutane for the texture? I read in reviews that it helped tremendously with the skin texture after laser.
No I didn’t but a dermatologist told me to ie retinol which I have been and haven’t noticed a difference
There is a review on realself. The user "Isotretinoin" documented that accutane helped to get all the damage undone. He also used tretinoin Creme before with no difference. Another woman said accutane rebuild her skin completely after laser damage that her friends think she had major surgery. Most probably you already read all this but I just wanted to let you know if not. It's my biggest hope for the texture! I took accutane 4 years ago when I had acne and it transformed my skin to glass skin. Not only acne. I really hope it's the answer. But you can't do surgery or other things while being on accutane so I will do surgery and fat transfer first like you did. You look already amazing. So happy for you!!

Hi everyone... ok 6 weeks today, still have swelling but little by little things are improving. I will include pictures, no makeup just aurasilk and sunscreen. Still have numbness which is expected but it goes away a little at a time. Eyes are not feeling quite so dry. Tightness is less, all incisions are healing fine. I need my hair cut and colored and brows done but not quite ready to go.

Hi Jody,I meant to mention before I loved the video,my husband used to be a corrections officer,It brought back memories lol!. Also think of your surgery this way,when we had laser we could just watch as everything deteriorated but with your surgery things just keep getting better!. Hugs chrisxx

Hi Jody, I wish I could afford to see Dr Talei, unfortunately he’s also too far away.Its hard to believe one treatment can cause so much damage and cost so much to rectify!.I am happy for you though and am glad someone gets their life back.Looking forward to your updates!. Hugs chrisxx

Hi. I’m getting happier by the day. Still healing but things are getting better and better. So 3 years ago I had Co2 Fraxel repair by another board Certified, dual certified plastic surgeon and he ruined my skin. I’ve tried everything these past 3 years to get correction and finally I knew Dr Talei was my only hope. He is such a talented, knowledgeable plastic surgeon and his results speak volumes. He is also kind and caring. So he did have to work through damage. But I will post an update soon.
