I know some people were confused about my before photo because I look good in it. My whole point in getting this surgery when I did is that I wanted to keep my face looking youthful; to catch it before it got bad. So, the BEFORE photo (hair down) was on my 55th birthday in November 2021and the AFTER photo (hair back) was on my 57th birthday in November 2023. They don’t really look different you say? That is exactly what I wanted.

I wish you had continued to post pictures and comments each week or month. I just had upper bleph, lower face and neck lift 8 days ago. I am also very swollen and I feel unrecognizable. I have to return to work next week and don’t see how. I am going to try to work from home like you and pray by week 3 things are going to go down. You look amazing now. When did the swelling really go down where you felt normal?
You look incredible! Scar healed well too; very thin line! Congratulations, I hope you are feeling confident and happy :)

Wow you look great!! Do you feel healed at 5 weeks? Also, any chance you can post pics of the side profile now and is there scarring on the sides of the hairline? Thank you so much for sharing!!
Is there a before photo?
The before photo is the first one. It was from my 55th birthday in November 2021. I don't have a true after photo yet. I plan to take one on my 56th birthday which will be just under four month post-op.
I thought your before photo was your after photo haha
But that's not really an accurate representation of her "before" as she is fully smiling and not showing any jowls or eyebags. Can you post standarized photos from the office?
Hi—I decided to post about my journey and the truth about recovery. I also may have had a harder time psychologically because I was not unhappy with my face before surgery I wanted to “catch it” before it got bad so the shock of actual post op process was something I wanted to show truth about. . Most of the reviews that I had access to said recovery was about 2 wks and I wanted people to know that it can be much longer. Sorry you think my before photo is not a true representation . If you want to see Dr Ort’s clinical before & after pics there are plenty on her site. She does lovely work.

@honestgirl55567 There is no after picture yet. The first photo is labeled “before” and was taken by me on my phone on my 55th Birthday. All other photos are labeled “Recovery” and show exactly that. I am almost 2 months post op and will not have an “after” photo until I end my recovery. My final checkin with Dr Ort is to be on 11/16/22 just days before my 56th birthday. Not sure why you want to be negative at me. If you truly don’t understand what you are seeing it would help if you read the captions on my photos. Thank you for saying I look 50 in my before photo. I am very happy with how I looked before surgery and if I can maintain that with the results of the procedures then I have gotten exactly what I was hoping for.

You are beautiful and look 35 in the before. It is good to do this younger so not noticeable.

Thank you @scarface1955. My hope was to get everything back where it belongs before it became noticeable. I just had a work colleague (whom I havent seen since doing this) come up to tell me how great I look and how amazing what being happy can do. Sounds like exactly what I wanted from this. My birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks so I will post an after photo that is one year from my before photo
It takes about 7- 8 months to see the full results with swelling!

You look fantastic, before and after
A year after this, are you still happy with your result? And for the scarring, did it bother you at all that there were scars in front of the ears? They look quite faded.
