And Just Like That...

I can remember reading all these amazing reviews and thinking to myself... this guy is too good to be true. But here I sit, 7 weeks down the track, (after ordering 'one with the lot' - Facelift, neck, eyes (upper and lower), brow and lip... yep, the whole kit and kaboodle) and am still stunned by the results. At 59, I was the proud owner of jowls - that when you did a downward dog at yoga, if you looked sideways into a mirror, you couldn't see your face! Think basset hound on a good day! Now, thanks to the gorgeous Dr Ha, I am greeted by this fresh face each morning!

It is a big decision to undergo this procedure, so what a relief it was to meet a surgeon that took pride in his work. This was also imparted to me by the staff at the hospital, the recovery staff and a lovely member of the staff who'd had the procedure and took time out to come and allay my fears while waiting to go into surgery. Every person, same thoughts - meticulous, caring and professional... oh and also does a mean plait when you have long hair - an added bonus!

There was a little pain but mostly discomfort as you wade your way through the days of recovery. My eyes gave me the most hell - dry and annoying - but the rest went according to plan. Scars are lightening but like most who commented here - the top of my head (a two inch patch) is still numb but the rest is tingling and getting back sensation.

And just like that...I was looking fine - with makeup - for my 59th birthday. Blew away my friends - as the result is fab!
