I’ve pondered this review for a long time and truly feel that 8 months post my facelift there are still not enough words that truly do justice to the incredible skills and expertise possessed by Dr Callan. I think it’s important to mention that I didn’t get a facelift to look younger. I initially sought Dr Callan’s advice for lip lines and forehead lines. I soon realised these weren’t the main issues I needed to address. At 54 I was experiencing global changes to my face due to menopause. Dr Callan was incredibly honest and realistic in explaining the results I could expect from any surgical or non surgical approach to facial rejuvenation. I also spent many hours researching surgeons in Victoria and around the world and can honestly attest to the fact Dr Callans results are exemplary and comparable to renowned international surgeons who charge considerably more for the same surgery.It is important to remember a face lift is major surgery and you need to embark upon it with realistic expectations and a surgeon who prides themselves on attention to detail. As a highly respected leader in his field Dr Callan deserves the highest accolades for his honesty, compassion and for producing results that have literally changed my life. I look in the mirror everyday with a huge smile on my face and feel incredibly grateful. My confidence has been restored and I now love having my photo taken and wearing makeup. These are two things I hated as I never felt good about my appearance. For those wondering I also have zero scars and my skin is the best it’s ever been. It’s also important to give a special mention to Joyce, Brooke and Christine. Truly beautiful ladies who go out of their way to make the journey even easier. As a team they were with me every step of the way checking in on me and providing calm positivity and reassurance.
