You Get What You Pay For…
I corresponded and eventually met with Dr Cohen (of Premier Plastic Surgery of Costa Rica) about what could be done regarding the jowls along my jawline. A facelift with neck lift was recommended so that was done in July 2022. About 10 months later, I noticed the jowls returning. I contacted Dr Cohen and he said sometimes this happens and a touch up is needed. I live in the US so not easy to go back to Costa Rica. I have since met with a couple of plastic surgeons here and was told I really had a partial facelift. To correct the jowls, liposuction and then pulling the skin to behind the ears is necessary. Those steps were not done by Dr Cohen and that is why the jowls returned. Very disappointing to say the least. I have since had the proper facelift done and the problem has finally been corrected. Although it was 5 times more expensive in the US, you get what you pay for.
