A few pics 3 months post-op with the swelling gone. Also, some pics of the incisions that I had tried to include in the original post and wasn’t able to upload for some reason.
Just want to emphasize once again, I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr Mustoe and his staff. They’re excellent!!

I am just about 4 weeks post op and still have alot of swelling in front of my ear, below the temple. Did you experience that too? And numbness on the sides of my cheeks. I had the same procedure, and the same doctor! Just not brave enough to show pictures...yet.
Yes. The majority of swelling and numbness disappeared probably between weeks 4 & 8 post op. I'm about 11 weeks out now and still have some numbness, but not a lot.
The area right in front of my ear seems to be the last place I have numbness left.

wow! gorgeous! Thanks for the review. Did you do forhead lift as well or Botox? I am considering forhead lift but that scares me, So many people have hair loss etc.
Thank you! I did not do a brow lift. I get Botox to create a lift. Thanks for the info about hair loss. I was considering it but didn't know that was a risk!

HIGHLY Recommend Dr Mustoe

I decided at 50 years old that it was time to take care of the turkey neck and jowls before they got worse. I did a lot of research and read hundreds of reviews before deciding on a consultation with Dr Mustoe. I walked away knowing that I wouldn’t need To meet with any other surgeons. Dr Mustoe spent all the time I needed to explain the procedure, the outcome I could expect, show multiple before/after photos of surgeries he had performed, and answered any questions I had. I knew I had found the best. I had a lower face and neck lift along with fat transfers around the mouth on May 29. Today is 11 days post surgery and I just had the last stitches/staples removed. A big surprise to me is that I’ve had almost no bruising. Seriously, I’ve had more bruising getting facial fillers. I’m beyond thrilled with the results so far - the best money I’ve spent on a cosmetic procedure, hands down. Thank you, Dr Mustoe!

Your after pics look a lot like Jade from the Bachelor...(Yes, I watch that.) Lol! She's in her early 30's! Enjoy your new beautiful look! :)

Thank you! I did not have general anesthesia. I had local along with sedatives. I don't handle general anesthesia well. And, I watch The Bachelor, too! :)
Gosh, you really hit the plastic surgeon jackpot! I thought for sure you were going to say you had general anesthesia, because I didn't think they could get results like that with local anesthesia! Oh that's too funny you watch it too...I've been watching since it first started, and there were girls my age back then, but now all the bachelorette/bachelors Moms are my age! :( Lol!
