WORTH IT
I wanted to share a final update now that everything has had time to fully settle.
Looking back, the recovery process required patience, especially during the first few weeks when swelling and bruising were at their most noticeable. However, by the three-month mark, the results felt very natural and well worth the wait.
The most significant improvement is that my eyebags are completely gone. I look much more awake, refreshed, and well-rested, even on days when I don’t feel particularly rested. The under-eye area is smoother, and the overall result is subtle but noticeable.
The forehead lift has also helped open up the eye area without looking overdone. Friends and family have commented that I look fresher and more rested, although most can’t quite put their finger on what has changed—which is exactly the natural result I was hoping for.
Most importantly, I still look like myself, just a more refreshed version. I’m very happy with the outcome and glad I trusted Dr Jeon’s recommendations. By the one-month mark, most of the obvious swelling and bruising had resolved. The yellow bruising that was still visible during the first week had completely disappeared, and I felt comfortable being out and about without needing sunglasses or a hat.
The forehead area still felt slightly tight at times, and there were some numb patches on my scalp, which I had been told to expect. I could also feel the Endotine implants if I pressed on certain areas of my forehead, and there were a few small bumps near the incision sites. While these initially concerned me, they gradually became less noticeable over time.
The under-eye area looked significantly better compared to the first few weeks. There was still some residual puffiness, particularly in the mornings, but overall I looked much more refreshed and rested. At this stage, I started to appreciate the changes, although I knew everything was still settling.
One thing I learned is that recovery is not completely linear. Some days I felt more swollen than others, especially after poor sleep or salty meals. This was normal and improved over time.
