Lower face & neck lift w/fat transfer to the cheeks and Co2
WORTH IT
I am currently recovering from a mid face & neck lift, Co2 laser and fat transfer to my cheeks, post- op four days. I feel great, minimal swelling virtually no bruising. I have had no worries knowing I am in excellent hands. If it weren't for the bandages I would be out and about. Here you will find a photo diary of my progress along with suggestions on what I found helpful.
Day 1- rest and ice is all you need.
Day 2- rest & ice, intermittently throughout the day. lightly washed my face and applied aquaphor 2-3x's a day. No pain.
Day 3- got up took a quick bath, removed bandages, washed my face lightly with gentle cleanser, started the vinegar soaks, this helps remove the crust, applied aquaphor lightly to the face and re-wrapped my face. Iced throughout the day. Key point is to keep the nape area of your neck constantly cold, I used the old fashion ice bags for this.
Day 4- first day without pain meds, mild discomfort.
Quick bath, vinegar soaks, (1 Tbl spoon to 1 cup of water) make ahead of time and keep in the refrigerator in a squeeze bottle, this keeps it cold and is ready to use. I also used a gauze mask and just squeezed the solution directly on my face. Feels fantastic. Applied Aquaphor and re-wrapped my head.

You are beautiful to begin with. Those eyes...
How old are you? Did the fat transfer hurt!?
How much did you pay for this surgery? How's the healing now at two months post op?

Day 4 vinegar soak. This Is helpful in removing the crusty stuff. I found these gauze masks on amazon.

Day 5
Removed my bandages, washed my face, vinegar soak for 10 minutes. I purchased the “Marena Recovery Compression Chin Strap with Mid-Neck Coverage for Post-op Mask” size Large on Amazon and put it on. The mask is easy to put on and allows for more or less compression, feels great. The mask allows your ears to be exposed and at this point it really feels nice (see video). I continue to use my ESARORA ICE ROLLER, moving upwards to reduce swelling.
Thank you for sharing your informative review and photos, very helpful!
