Beyond Expectation. I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Lee

About two years ago, I had a facial rejuvenation treatment using radio frequency technology that left me with an indentation on one side of my face. I initially had some encouraging results from filler and then fat transfer, but neither of those lasted long, and I was told the best results would be obtained by getting a lower facelift. Being in my early 40s with minimal skin laxity, I certainly wasn’t prepared to hear the word “facelift,” as that was not something that had crossed my mind at all. But after a year and a half of hiding, I finally decided it was time to do whatever it took to fix my face!
I live in an area of Los Angeles near many prominent facial plastic surgeons, but after several consultations and scouring through thousands of photos I made the decision to go with Dr. Lee in Newport Beach. I read and studied all of his reviews/photos, and found his patients to have the most amazing/natural results. Those patients still looked like themselves—only younger and more vibrant. This was really important to me as I wanted to keep this very discreet and still look like myself, not overdone. Beyond the photos, I couldn’t find a single bad/negative review about Dr. Lee, which I found rare given how subjective reviews of surgery results can be.
Dr. Lee and I first had a virtual consultation, followed by an in-person visit a few days later. As soon as I met him I could tell he was studying my face and really listening to my concerns. He was kind, very at ease and patient despite his busy schedule. He really thought about my case and the special circumstances involved, which I deeply appreciated.
I was hesitant to get elective surgery during a pandemic (and with young kids at home) but also wanted to take advantage of being locked down without any social or work obligations. I was able to schedule my Faceology lift pretty quickly, and the results are phenomenal. I’m about 20 days post and I have had zero bruising and can already tell my scars are very minimal (Dr. Lee used a specific suture technique as I am prone to scarring). Most importantly, the indentation is nearly gone and I look about 10 years younger—in the most subtle of ways. My smile lines are smoothed out, my neck is tighter and everything is neatly tucked away. Even my earlobes are more youthful (is that even possible?!). I wake up every day pinching myself and looking in the mirror over and over again to make sure this is real.
