Emotionally Demeaning and Hostile

Title: Emotionally Demeaning, Rushed, and Deeply Unprofessional Experience

I left my consultation with Dr. Jason Hall feeling humiliated, devastated, and far worse about my appearance than when I arrived — something no ethical physician should ever do to a patient.

From the moment he entered the room, Dr. Hall was short-tempered, dismissive, and clearly irritated. There was no warmth, no effort to listen, and no sense that he cared how his words would land. Instead of discussing concerns with sensitivity or professionalism, he bluntly dissected my face in a way that felt cruel rather than clinical.

He focused on “asymmetry” and flaws without context, reassurance, or empathy, delivering criticism in a way that made me feel ugly, defective, and ashamed. There was no attempt to balance realism with compassion — just cold commentary followed by an enormous dollar figure, presented as though it were obvious and unquestionable.

A plastic surgeon should understand the psychological vulnerability of patients seeking consultation. Dr. Hall either doesn’t understand this or doesn’t care. His demeanor made it clear I was just another body to critique, not a human being sitting across from him.

I did not feel respected, safe, or emotionally cared for — and that is unacceptable in a profession that deals so directly with self-image and confidence. I would strongly caution anyone who is sensitive, anxious, or already struggling with self-esteem to think very carefully before booking a consultation here.

No one deserves to leave a medical appointment feeling torn down.
