1 year post-op facelift, Dr. Stacey Folk left large scars

Dr. Folk has been recognized for her personable approach, but unfortunately, the outcome of my facial surgery did not live up to the hype she had marketed. As a result, I am now seeking additional facial surgery from a different plastic surgeon to address the issues caused by Dr. Folk. If I had the opportunity to go back in time, I would have taken the following steps to prevent this situation:
Firstly, I would have chosen a plastic surgeon who specializes exclusively in facial procedures, ensuring their expertise and focus on this specific area. Secondly, I would have asked important questions regarding the frequency of performing similar procedures, allowing me to compare and evaluate their experience. Additionally, I would have inquired about their approach in handling situations where the results do not meet expectations. Unfortunately, Dr. Folk's response to my concerns and questions regarding the unfavorable outcome was remarkably insensitive. It became evident that the warm and inviting persona she presents for marketing purposes quickly faded when it came to taking responsibility for the promised results.
For those considering Dr. Folk's services, I would highly recommend bringing a witness to every appointment and potentially recording each visit. Additionally, remember that you have recourse through the AMA if you wish to file a complaint against a doctor.
