Dr. Heather Lee made my dreams a reality!

Each day I’m loving the results more and more. Saggy jowls are gone and nose is looking good. The feeling in my nose and lower face is coming back to normal- still a little bit numb. Overall, feeling more confident and sexy from the outcome :) VERY happy I had surgery.

I’m 40 years old and due to my saggy jowls I felt much older than my age. Unfortunately, Jowls run in my family. My build has always been lean but my face never matched this thanks to genetics. I also had a bump in the bridge of my nose that I was not happy about.This is what started my plastic surgery journey… five years ago I went to a different plastic surgeon, who was just a general plastic surgeon. I went for a consultation regarding my jowls as I was interested in liposuction of them to fix the problem. He informed me that liposuction and a chin implant (I also had a weak chin profile) would fix my jowls. I agreed and had the surgery. After surgery my jowls looked the same but now I had an improved chin profile. I was very let down by this surgeon and the outcome for my jowls.This led me on a quest for a better outcome. I knew that now I wanted a plastic surgeon who specializes in just facial surgery. I went to other plastic surgeons for consultations and many times due to my “young” age I felt I was not taken seriously about my jowls. These doctors wanted to treat the jowls with fillers- which I felt would make my face heavier. Over the five years I was looking around for a qualified facial plastic surgeon that had great outcomes (I was looking in my state and out of state). Thanks to Real Self I found Dr. Heather Lee.Dr. Lee was wonderful from the start. Her warm personality put me at ease. She listened to my concerns regarding my jowls and bump in my nose. The time in her office did not feel rushed as she addressed all of my questions. Most of all she took me seriously about addressing my jowls with a facelift, even at the age of 40.I had a facelift and rhinoplasty with Dr. Lee on 5/17/21. I’m a month out and am thrilled with the results! Dr. Lee did an amazing job! Post surgery I experienced little to no pain- mainly tightness from the facelift. I stopped pain meds three days after surgery. I was shocked how good I looked so soon after the surgery. Only some bruising in my neck (none under my eyes- which I was expecting). The incisions were minimal and could easily be hidden by my hair.I highly recommend Dr. Lee and the whole staff at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery. Everyone has been very kind and patient with all pre and post operative care. If you are considering plastic surgery I HIGHLY suggest going to a surgeon who specializes in the kind of surgery you are considering. It may save you time, money, and get the results you want the first time.This surgery has changed my self confidence. I now feel as if my face fits my build/age of me. Very glad I took the second plunge of plastic surgery with Dr. Lee (wish I would have found her the first time)!
