Dr Ercan Karacaoglu - Not only a fabulous meticulous surgeon but a warm, kind, caring, human being

I’m 57 years old and single, I had been thinking of having a facelift for the past 5 years but more seriously the past 12 months. I live in the Uk - Manchester, had had been for three consultations around the greater Manchester area but I just wasn’t ‘feeling it’, I can’t put my finger on exactly what but there was something stopping me. I decided to broaden my horizons in search of my plastic surgeon and looked at Istanbul, I’d heard Istanbul was becoming increasingly popular for plastic surgery and had some of the best surgeons in the world. I came across Dr Ercan Karacaoglu and afte reading his excellent reviews I forwarded him my pictures, within about an hour he messaged me back on ‘WhatsApp’, he was straight to the point and told me what he thought was ageing my face and what he advised for ‘whole face’rejuvenation, I realised then that that was what I needed, someone to look at my face as a whole and tell me what I needed! All of what Dr Ercan had suggested was spot on and was impressed by his honesty.
This was July 2019 and I was planning the surgery for Jan 2020, Dr Ercan said it was ok to message him about anything at all and around a month later I arranged a video call with him, that seemed to make my mind up as he had such a warm and friendly/down to earth personality, he went through the procedures with me and spoke perfect fluent English. I messaged him a few times before I flew over to Istanbul in Jan and he always replied very promptly ... I liked the fact I could speak to him direct with any questions.
I travelled over with my only daughter who was more apprehensive than me ! However we both met with Dr Ercan the day before my scheduled surgery and from the moment we met him he eased all our anxieties.. he was such a warm caring man and he patiently answered all our questions, he had a sense of humour too that helped us greatly! After meeting him we felt so reassured as he sounded so professional and caring.
As I was being wheeled down for the surgery my daughter was a bit emotional, she told me that when I’d left the room Dr Ercan gave her a reassuring hug and told her I’d be fine ..that meant so her ! After the op I cannot praise the care I received afterwards highly enough .. the nurses were absolutely lovely Dr Ercan even organised a private nurse to stay with me in my room the whole night on the first night so my daughter could go to the hotel and get some sleep (the hotel was only a few metres from the hospital)
I stayed two nights in the hospital and Dr Ercan came to see me morning and evening, he was absolutely amazing, he showed us how to dress the wounds prior to going back to the hotel and nothing was too much trouble for him, he had so much patience. We stayed at the hotel a further 11 nights and throughout this time Dr Ercan arranged to see us in his room at the hospital regularly, he does all the following up himself such as removing the head dressing, any drains and he even removed my stitches, I’m mentioning that as many sugeons would ask the nurses to undertake those jobs but not Dr Ercan, he takes a lot of pride in his work, not just the surgery, but the aftercare. I literally could not fault him.
As I was leaving to go home i was literally over the moon with my results so far and when I saw Dr Ercan for the last time I felt quite emotional as he had been so caring and he had made me so happy with the wonderful procedures he had performed on my face, saying ‘thank-you’ just didn’t seem to be enough.
It’s been almost 4 weeks now as I write this review and I cannot express how delighted I am, I feel I look at least 10 years younger and a lot fresher! Dr Ercan messaged me on my return to the UK to ask how things were and I feel if I needed I could still ask him
anything I was concerned about.
If your considering a facelift you will probably have similar anxieties and apprehensions that I had, I I can say, from experience, is that you will be in the best hands possible with Dr Ercan Karacaoglu, he’s meticulous and it’s more than just a ‘job’ to him. The absolute pride he takes in his ‘work’ shines through and he genuinely cares about you from start to finish (and beyond)
You need look no further than than Dr Ercan Karacaoglu as I cannot recommend him highly enough

A few more pics at 6 weeks post op ! One or two people have asked about the scar so I’ve posted a pic (if you can see a scar!) dr Ercan has asked for regular updates on my recovery but I really haven’t had any problems or issues .. if your thinking about it go for it ! I’m sure you won’t regret it !
