Facelift 6 Month Update
WORTH IT
6 months since my FL with Dr Arenas. I am pleased with results and am happy with my decision to go to MX. I would do it again without hesitation. Still have some lingering numbness on the sides of my face, would say 80% of the feeling is back. Scars from work on my eyes are barely visible to me. Scar on my chin is still visible and is slowly fading.

Facelift with Dr Arenas - Excellent
In Sep 2021, I traveled to Guadalajara, MX to have a Facelift (FL) procedure with Dr Arenas. A little about me: I am a mature woman from the Seattle, WA area and do not speak Spanish. It took a lot of courage and trust for me to travel to MX for a FL and I am thankful to Realself and other patients of Dr Arenas for helping me to make this choice.
I am 3 weeks post FL and so far elated with my results. I am still swollen in areas and have numbness on the sides of my face and chin/neck area but I am confident these things will subside with time.
Overall my experience with Dr Arenas, his staff and the hospital were wonderful. I highly recommend him if you are considering a FL or any procedure.
I stayed with Morada Luna Recovery House for pre and post care at Dr Arenas' recommendation. My experience at Morada Luna was wonderful. After having my FL done with Dr Arenas, I can't image having work done in Seattle, due to his talent, cost and the overall experience. I don't think having a procedure done in my area could match the experience with Dr Arenas.
We were able to do some light sight seeing in Guadalajara too. Guadalajara is an amazing and dynamic city. Very grateful for my FL and the wonderful experience.

Hi there and thank you for such great information. I will be traveling to see Dr Arenas on November 30 for several procedures I am quite nervous to be traveling out of the country. I also will be staying at Morada Luna For 15 days post up. Looking for helpful advice and recommendations about the city. My sister and I will be there for days before surgery in my life to find some fun things to do as well. Thank you in advance.
