Despair and Depressed

Six month update.
I look better but not better than before. My eyes are botched, my naturally high cheekbones have disappeared due to the positioning of the cheeks which looks like two balloons under my eyes. When I smile my now small eyes disappears. I have to spend hours on corrective makeup to disguise deformities. :-(

I had endoscopic cheek lift, eyebrow lift also without my permission upper blepharoplasty and incision through lower eyelids :-(

I found this surgeon from this site. He has quite good reviews and his website seemed convincing. I had consultation on WhatsApp. I asked him what did he think I required? Full facelift? He said No! I only needed Cheek Lift. I had consultation with two other surgeons who told me I didn’t require facelift. But my nasalibia fold and Ape like philtrum bothers me. After researc I found that cheek lift reduces the problem. On consultation I told him I wanted an eyebrow lift to elevate the ends of my eyes like Kendall Jenner so he agreed. He told me he could also perform liplift but I wasn’t impressed with his work so told him I had only couple of surgeons in my mind that I would trust with lip lift surgery.

So few months later I booked my operation with him.

I arrived in Istanbul and the following day I had consultation with surgeon again finalising everything about my expectations and gave him remaining payment.

A day later I had my operation. Everything thing about it didn’t feel right. The hospital, staff, the lack of communication with Surgeon’s Assistant, hygiene, general care and empathy etc.. however I have to say the surgeon provided me with an English speaking nurse ( after fussing for an English speaking nurse) who was amazing. She nursed me though the night as I was in extreme pain and vomiting with nausea.

I was in a SHOCK when I woke up realising my eyes were stitched up leaving tiny gap for visibility. He has performed upper blepharoplasty without my consent! Also didn’t mention about the incision on bottom eyelids. He told me I will have scarless incisions on my temporal and one int the middle of my forehead. I was very poorly and nauseous for five days. I wonder why?? A week later the surgeon took off the stitches revealing my face. I looked awful but it had only been a week.

Fast forward returned back to the UK 10 days post op. I developed RETRACTION and the other eye different shape and significantly smaller. I looked like Bride of Wildenstein!!

Two months post op I look OLDER with botched eyes ( upper and lower eyelids) jowls square face instead of heart shaped face and still have nasalabia folds oh and ridged forehead with bald patches.

I won’t mention the surgeon’s name yet because he keeps saying “ It is part of healing”

So as requested I will give it another two months, 4 months in total.

I have had opinions from over 7 surgeons and so far not good

Had endoscopic cheek lift and eyebrow lift with fat transfer. I ended up with added extra of top eyelid lift to give me almond shoe eyes.
After 21 day I look like an Alien and one of my eye has been botched. The waterline has been pulled down, my cheeks are high up and jawline has jowls. Before surgery I looked 15-20 years younger (25-30) just wanted my laughter line gone and eyebrow lifted to give me a Kendall Jenner eyes.
I am still healing so trying to stay positive as much as possible. I look so bad and older it is shocking!
I will update and name the surgeon once completely healed.
Anybody think of going to Turkey please be extremely cautious. I had rhinoplasty there and it wasn’t a great experience although I now like my nose and think it looks better.
