WORTH IT
My experience with Dr. Zuccardi has been nothing short of exceptional. Choosing him was the result of years of careful research — reviewing surgeon profiles, studying before?and?after results, and following social media accounts. His work stood out immediately: consistent, natural, and remarkably refined. Those results cemented my decision to travel from Toronto, Canada, to Buenos Aires for surgery.
Procedures performed:
Upper blepharoplasty, fat grafting under the eyes, deep face and neck lift, rhinoplasty, lip lift, and temporal brow lift.
Before surgery:
My first point of contact was Soledad, who answered every question I had, no matter the time of day. My consultation with Dr. Zuccardi was done via video call, and he took the time to address every concern thoroughly. His team followed up with additional answers as new questions came up. Traveling alone to Buenos Aires could have been intimidating, but the warmth and professionalism I received from the moment I arrived made me feel supported and safe.
Surgery & immediate recovery:
My surgery lasted about five hours and was performed at Sanatorio Agote, a state?of?the?art clinic with highly responsive and professional staff. Although I had researched extensively, nothing fully prepared me for how challenging the first few days would be. The inflammation was intense — I couldn’t close my mouth and worried I wouldn’t be able to bring my lips together again. Dr. Zuccardi reassured me that it was temporary swelling, and he was right. I had to sleep in a seated position which made my sleep almost impossible and applying cold compresses on my face on and off throughout my waking hours. It was intense but totally worth it.
One of the most meaningful moments during recovery was the visit from Débora, the nurse. She came to the place where I was staying to help me wash my hair and teach me exactly how to care for my incisions and swelling. Her warmth, patience, and kindness made an enormous difference — especially because I was recovering alone. She has no idea how powerful her visit was for me, and I am deeply grateful for her support.
Healing & results:
I’m now almost four months post?op, and my results are incredible. People often tell me I look like I’m in my late 20s — I’m 52. Most swelling has resolved, and while my nose will continue healing for about two more months, everything is progressing beautifully. My ears have regained sensitivity, and the scars from my temporal brow lift and the incision in my scalp, and the upper bleph have faded completely. I still have mild sensitivity around my cheekbones and lip lift area, but I know this will resolve with time.
I resumed light workouts at six weeks and walked frequently before that. For scar care, I use a copper peptide, followed by silicone gel, and finish with mineral SPF 50 once everything is dry.

I have only praise for Dr. Zuccardi’s bedside manner. He answered every post?op question with patience and clarity. I will forever be grateful for his skill, his artistry, and the care his entire team provided. Choosing him was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
