Me Again

After years of fillers, sculptra, threads, Moxi, Halo, and wrinkle relaxer, I took a 2 year break to save money for a facelift. I knew that the never-ending cycle of temporary fixes was no longer working. Plus, I had lost 60 pounds and my neck was stringy and my jaw was looking like a saggy bulldog. I got scheduled for a SMAS facelift/necklift, and at the last minute I added on an upper blepharoplasty due to my eyelids starting to feel really heavy.

Although I was awake and fully aware of everything that was going on, I was in lalaland. I felt no pain. I did sense and hear the muscle pulling process, but I wasn’t bothered by it as I was completely numb.

My procedures were done 3 weeks ago, and I’m feeling so good about my decision so far. My neck looks fresh, and the lines and sag on my jaw are gone. My eyes are still feeling tired, but I see progress every day. I know it takes a while for everything to be more finished, and I’m patient and enjoying the process.

I will be having CO2 laser when I go back for my checkup at the end of the month. I didn’t feel confident having it done at the same time as the surgery because my tan was pretty heavy and uneven. I can’t wait to see how it finishes up my pores in my lower face.
