Day 11

WORTH IT
Today is day 11 so I wanted to chime in now that I’m finally settled in after traveling home. First things first... I feel amazing and I’m healing well. During my last office visit, I had my sutures removed which was quick and gave Dr. Harley a big hug. He is an amazing and gentle Doctor with the best bed side manner of any physician I have ever met (Given the fact that I work in a hospital says a lot)! He was honest with me about the potential outcome from my initial consultation and my results were better than expected. I said goodbye to Juanita and the rest of the team and thanked them for making the process so easy for those of us traveling from out of town. Later that day off I went to tour the Biltmore Estate. There was no way I was leaving Asheville without seeing a piece of history. It was absolutely beautiful! One last thing to wrap things up... if you are considering this procedure you won’t be disappointed selecting Dr. Harley as your provider. Best of luck to all!

can you elaborate on the degree to which you were immobilized by the procedure if at all and for how long? i am very active (do 8Ks every other day) and work full time, so this is important to me. my sense is you have to feel your way through this, and that it can be up to a month before you slowly resume workouts, but i wanted to get the view from an experienced person. thanks!
Hi Gliazzurri, I think we all respond different. I was up and out on day three. I went to Tennessee and other parts of the state. I was on full vacation mode and active everyday. I know the Dr. Recommends 2 weeks before slowly engaging in gym activity and 1 month before you are back to full workouts. I would follow the doctors recommendations especially since this is a surgery. I felt and still feel great though. Definitely listen to our body because you will know if you are over doing it. I also made sure I rested well in the evenings. Hope this helps a little.
You look terrific! Thank you or replying to my question. Be well
Beautiful results!
Yay!!!! I’m going next Wednesday!!!!! I’m wanting to not be lying around! I go back to work on day 14 so this is encouraging! Did anyone notice?

Day 2 update

2 days after my procedure...I cannot believe I have barely any bruising! Loving my new neck/chin! If you are planning on having this procedure ladies/gentleman TLC is a great caregiver to use. Brenda and Terri were by my side the entire night and the owner Susie even brought me home made soup today. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Honestly can't believe that you're only 2 days out. You look amazing! I hope you are feeling well too. Thanks for the TLC recommendation. :)
You look incredible - so happy for you and for the ease of your recovery!!
Thank you! I am little swollen today so planning to drink plenty of water and ice. It was also great to finally wash my hair lol.

What an amazing journey and experience. I experienced very little pain and discomfort during and after my procedure. Thank you to all the ladies who have shared their experiences on this site. Without you I wold have never found Dr. Harley. His entire office staff was pleasant as well as TLC. Brenda and Terri took care of me afterward and they were great care givers and company. Best of luck to all the ladies who have upcoming procedures. Oh won’t regret it!

Thanks for sharing. You have such a beautiful, heart-shaped face. Gorgeous!
Thank you! I could not figure out how to add these pictures to my initial post. Also, sorry for all the mis spellings. I will blame it on the pain meds
You look wonderful.
Looking beautiful! Yes, the shoe your face is now heart shaped. I cannot tolerate pain meds. Woul you think you could go it without them?
Please excuse the typos! Autocorrect! I meant to say you have a heart shaped face ❤️
