update of my banana chin correction & lifting procedure
WORTH IT
Omggg the reactions to my review have been so good! I honestly didn't expect it to get this much attention haha so I decided to post another little update.
A lot of people have been asking me about the scarring, since I mentioned my surgery but didn't really go into detail. I had minimal scarring along my hairline, extending to about the middle of it. Since the incisions were well hidden within my hair and the scars were very small, they honestly never bothered me that much. I also made sure to take really good care of them. I started using a scar ointment around the third week after surgery, once everything had healed enough. Ngl I was really nervous about the scars at first because I tend to overthink these things, but they healed much better than I expected. They're almost invisible now unless I intentionally part my hair to look for them. Healing definitely takes patience though... It took about five months for everything to heal completely, and I still experienced some numbness until around the ninth month. That gradually improved over time, so if you're going through something similar, don't panic if sensation takes a while to come back.
Looking back now, I'm honestly really happy that I went through with it. My chin was corrected exactly the way I wanted my jawline looks much more balanced, and the results still look very natural. Most people can't even tell I've had surgery they just say my face looks more harmonious and get more compliments. That's exactly the kind of result I was hoping for tehee

Correcting my Banana Chin at DA Plastic Surgery
I traveled from the U.S. to Korea for facial contouring, mainly because I had been self-conscious about my protruding chin, especially from the side, where it had a slight “banana-like” curve. Before surgery, my main concerns were the projection of my chin and the lack of definition in my jawline. Now that most of the swelling has gone down, I can see a clear difference. My face looks more balanced overall, and my side profile is closer to what I had hoped for. I had a T-osteotomy (chin reduction) along with square jaw contouring to create a softer V-line. I also combined it with lifting and some fat removal to help prevent sagging. It seems like doing these together helped maintain a more defined and tighter look. The results look fairly natural. It made a noticeable difference especially with my proportions. My jawline appears slimmer and more defined, especially in photos. Scarring was something I was worried about beforehand, but so far it’s minimal and not very noticeable. Overall, my face feels more proportionate than before, and my profile has improved without looking overly done. I had my surgery with Dr. Jang

Omg mamacitaaa I can literally see the difference!! I didn’t even know it could change that much just by fixing the chin area. That’s crazy in the best way. I had a rhino too and lovig my results you look sooo good girl!!
Thank you for your kind words! Your nose looks fantastic too
Oh thats really nice! Where were your incision lines that you were worried about scarring? Cuz I can't tell at all at least from the photos
Since I had lifting done as well the incision started from my hairline down to around my earlobes. I was worried about scarring at first, but after a few months it has almost completely faded so my concerns ended up being unnecessary haha
I can see your facial contouring and the line look softer than before. incisions and scars doesnt look visible!
Yeah I just did minimum incision thankfully it healed nicely almost non visible its even hard for me to find sometimes
Oh my you look amazing! How are your scars healing? I had a facelift and neck lift done together. I’m sure your scars are shorter than mine
Scars healed really well almost non visible! oh wow I just did mid face lift
You look more balnced and more beautiful. DA is really good at facial contouring!!
