Dishonest and Uncaring

Horrible experience that left me with vision impairment. I went for a consultation with Dr. Ford regarding a surgical removal of filler under my eyes. I requested an incision under the right eye only (the left was not bad). He assured me, he can remove the filler and insisted on performing the surgery on both eyes from the outer corners, fat transfer and CO2 laser in order to look perfect. I trusted him and paid the enormous amount of money quoted. After all swelling was gone (it was a month of pain, leaking eyes and then extremely dry eyes) I noticed that ALL of the filler was still there. Few months later when I was at the follow up consultation he had the audacity to tell me he never promised me a great outcome. And that he could refer me to another surgeon... like I had another $20,000 to give somewhere else. I started crying and then he agreed for a revision for which I had to pay a fee of $2,500. The revision was done. There was no pain for the first 3 days and then it hit me really bad. My left eye was in a maddening pain and pain medication made no difference. The surgical suture on the right side was poking me on the cheek so I gently pulled it out (the incision was completely closed already) but the suture on the left side was not visible any more and I was 100 percent sure it was buried under the skin when the area was very swollen. I went to see him and expressed my concern. He assured me the suture slipped out on its own and that the pain will go away. The pain intensified, I visited my family doctor, she of course could not help me, so I had no choice but to break the skin with a needle. Then I saw the blue suture that I pulled out on my own.
The vision on the left eye was and still is very blurred and I am seeing double. The pain continues on a daily basis. The prescription on the right eye went up. And the filler is still bulging out. The hole area is uneven and wrinkly. I look 15 years older. My job requires long driving, which I could no longer do because of the eyes problem. Lost my job because of him. Before the consultation with Dr. Ford I had a consultation with Dr. Philip Solomon who I know quite well. I truly appreciated his honestly telling me he would not do the surgery because he was not sure of a perfect outcome and did not want to disappoint me and waste my money.
If Dr. Ford expressed some doubts at the beginning, I would not have proceeded. He did not. You can see the "great" result achieved on the picture attached.
