I'm 37 years old and I've had baggy upper eyelids for a few years now. It definitely adds the years and makes me look a lot older than I am. I really notice it in photographs and when I do my make- up it's difficult to put on eyeshadow. Once the eyeshadow is on I open my eyes and my eyelids hide the beautiful shadow that I just put on. :-(
A year and a half ago I had a breast reduction with Dr cooper and as they say once you get some work done it does sort of become a little tempting to do more. So, that being said I had a consultation with Dr Cooper and he said he could do The procedure under local. I've been under general Anastasia twice in my life and figure it's best not to do it if you can avoid it. My biggest concern is recovery because I trust my doctor and know everything will be OK. However I work with people and want to take two weeks off tops. I just don't want to go back to work with swollen and bruised eyes. It seems like it's different for everyone so I guess we'll just have to see how I respond.
My surgery date is November 22 so the countdown is on!

These photos are problems but you can really see how my upper lid hangs over. Looking forward to getting that fixed!

Thanks! I think it went well! I haven't had any bruising but lots of swelling. It only hurt for about 6 hours after the surgery! Now it's just the swelling that's annoying because I want to be able to open my eyes all the way! I still see okay, though. It's not like they're swollen shut. I'm excited to get stitches out in a few more days! Swelling should subside by then. I'm excited to see final results! Best of luck to you!

Im excited for you! I'm 3 days post op and my eye lids sting just a bit on the edge of the incision. Swelling is down quite a bit too. I think I'll be happy with the results. It's hard waiting to see.
