I remember having days right after surgery and I looked like I was run over by a truck and on the third day I was depressed and wondered why I just couldn't leave well enough alone and grow old gracefully...but just not me. I told myself I just have to have faith in the process and trust my surgeon. Just stay positive and know that all h swelling and blood pooling is just how your body reacts to trauma and it WILL heal and you will look an feel great over time!! Best of luck for a great result!!

Thanks for posting your recovery pictures. It really helps me to know what to expect immediately after as well as in the future. You look amazing! I have my lower blepharoplasty this Monday. If you have any tips send them my way. Yes, I am wondering why I signed up to do this.
I hope you did well with your surgery and that you are recovering nicely! The only way to get to fully healed process is to go through the "I look like hell process." The only thing I can tell you is that it is normal around day 3 or or so to get depressed and/or anxious about why you put yourself this! You just have to tell yourself to trust the surgical healing process and do everything your Doctor instructs you to do! Call the surgeon if you have questions--after all, you're paying them big bucks so make the most out of your need for answers. Please post some photos and let us know how you are doing!

Two and a half months

Scars barely visible and continuing to heal more every. I moisturize upper scars and under eye read every event. I have received many compliments about “looking good”. So, I guess I do look much younger than 67...so happy I had uppers and lowers done!

Any dry eye or eye issues
No dry eye issues anymore. They were on dry side several weeks but that issue resolved itself. All good now!

You look glamorous and your eyes look really, really big but I think you looked better before. You still looked young but had a more natural look. Glad you're happy with it though- that's the most important thing.

1 1/2 Months Post Surgery

Eyes are no longer dry. A bit of a bump on lower side of each eye but not really noticeable if I use coverup. Have been moisturizing scars on upper and lower lids!!! I will post again in a year.

I got mine done too it’s been three months out and there still a little swelling under my eyes under one of my eyes. What did you pay for yours?
