Repair of upper eyelid tendons with treatment for excess fat below eyes

My Ophthalmologist (Dr. Ayad Farjo, who is also wonderful) referred me to Dr. Black for repair of the tendons of my upper eyelids.

Dr. Black confirmed Dr. Farjo's diagnosis and medically necessary and clearly explained what needed to be done.

He also noted that I had excess fat below my eyes that could be treated by an elective surgery in conjunction with the eyelid work.

The entire process from the beginning until my final appointment was terrific. Each visit all my questions were answered and his team, from the front desk to the operating room, were consistently kind and helpful.

The eyelid surgery has significantly improved my vision.

I have received so many compliments from friends, neighbors and family. My out of state cousin wants to have an appointment with Dr. Black.

My neighbors and friends said that I didn't look like I had surgery that I just looked rested and all of them wanted Dr Black's number.

I realized how good the surgery was when I went from looking in the mirror seeing my mom's eyes to seeing my daughter's eyes.

Every day when I look in the mirror I'm glad I had both procedures.
