Honest and confident - couldn’t be more happy with the results

Honest and Confident

WORTH IT

My journey with Dr.Schiller started in June 2022 with my consultation. He spent almost a full hour with me answering any and all questions and trying to come up with the best option. He was honest and confident and I found that to be wonderful. He immediately told me I was not a candidate for the surgery I was hoping, which was the most expensive, so I knew he really cared and wasn’t trying to get the most money from me. I had a lower skin pinch procedure done in the hospital in July 2022. I had a tremendous amount of swelling and bruising and didn’t feel completely healed until almost 4 months. During this time Dr.Schiller saw me in the office monthly to monitor the mild ectropion I developed from scar tissue while reassuring me he would fix anything I was concerned with. After months of monitoring I decided to go ahead and do a canthopexy in the office last month. During this time the staff and the doctor were wonderful. As soon as the procedure was over I was thrilled. I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Everything is perfect just as Dr.Schiller and his staff assured me it would be! He has hands of gold!

How do you know the ectropian you developed was caused by scar tissue formation, and not the result of the surgery itself ? Did you seek an outside opinion? I also developed a mild ectropian after my lower bleph ( confirmed by 2 ophthalmologists), but Dr. Schiller denied it existed, let alone admitted it cld be caused by the surgery.

Did you do the original lower blepharoplasty?

I meant, did HE do the original lower Blepharoplasty? Did this occur after the surgery?

It developed over time and I did go for a second opinion. That doctor also confirmed that it was not caused by the surgery itself but more so by the way it healed. When Dr. Schiller corrected it, he had to cut out all of the scar tissue as well. I’m sorry you had such a different experience. I am very extremely happy with my results.
