Stay Away

I was sent to Jelks to address a botched lower lid blepharoplasty. This surgeon performed a procedure that proved to be an aggravation of my existing condition. He pulled my eyebrows down and elongated the lateral eyelids. I knew immediately that this surgery had a tragic outcome and spoke up. Within weeks I consulted the California Eye Institute on the opposite coast, and it generated a report that documented the status of my eyes and criticized Jelks for an approach that was contra-indicated, and was guaranteed to fail. I should have legally addressed Jelks for the physical distress he caused me and for the length of time it took me to be able to use my eyes in a normal functional way. Stay away from Jelks.
