Even with the post-op swelling, I was already so much happier

Words cannot describe my gratitude to Dr. Neimkin and his staff. I had nightmares every day for eleven years after botched eye surgery. I was self-conscious in public all the time and would never leave the house without eye makeup. The thoughts about how ugly I was were all consuming. I went to many doctors over the years, only to be turned away by each of them. They all felt that any surgery would just make the appearance worse. Then I was referred to Dr. Neimkin. He was the first doctor who didn’t dismiss how I felt about my eyes and the only doctor who said he could help me. I was in disbelief that I had finally found someone who could help me and I was terrified! Dr. Neimkin and his staff were endlessly patient with my questions and cold feet (which dragged out for months) and I finally had surgery. I now look in the mirror without hating what I see and I haven’t had a nightmare since the day before surgery. Even with the post-op swelling, I was already so much happier and now that I’m healed completely, the results are amazing.
