Without that droop, I was exhilarated

ORIGINAL POST

Rare Awesome Doctor

WORTH IT

Eye and brow area really aged me in the last 6 years. After a lot of research I found Dr Schiener who also had an innovative under eye resurfacing procedure. I wasn't in Los Angeles anymore and was shocked to find this gem of a doctor in my backyard basically in Tampa. I had bad smile lines as well as the drooping outer eyelids from puffiness over the years which stretched the skin, and lowered eyebrows. I also had filler under my eyes that was multiple times dissolved but really never got fully dissolved. Nightmare. Was left with bumps and lumps of who knows what and out of any minor medispa type solutions. He dissolved it in a different way before the procedure. The before photo was shot just after the filler was removed so the skin is really deflated and whats really there is left. Not pretty...

Oh and did I mention the melasma on my cheeks?!? He lasered that [RS bleep] off too.

I did the whole shebang in eye/brow area that was suggested. It was expensive but worth it. I didn't see anyone from my research doing what he does. He goes deep and literally takes off the skin under the eyes pretty much and it fully grows back, baby skin new. People who scar from fraxel and other lasers I think just actually don't go deep enough but hurt the outer layer of skin so it half [RS bleep] grows back. When taking off the skin it has to fully grow back from scratch and that blueprint is perfect. The incision over my eyes (done with a laser, NOT scalpel like most) was even and nice. I made sure though I healed my gut ("ancestral supplements" helped a lot just fyi If you have issues) and then stopped eating gluten. I didn't want to create another puffiness situation or the headaches I used to get from leaky gut, even drinking water from plastic bottles was giving me a headache I realized. This and some life situations all added to a stressful look on my face and took a toll. Immune system needs to be strong, didn't want any healing issues. I fully recommend getting health in order and getting stressful people or situations under control as best as possible beforehand.

Afterwards it was about putting in some real discipline in the most important 10 days after (I stayed in mostly), and then wearing hat/sunscreen. Lots of soaking the eyes for hrs a day on and off. Get some podcasts ready! I listened to some business podcasts that kept my spirits up so as not to feel restless and unproductive during that time. Took a little while for the brows to raise up to a normal position, they are heavy at first. I cried in the office one day feeling like Freddy Krugar.. But when they lifted, higher than they were before, without that droop, I was exhilarated. Like years of stress gone!
