I Had a Beyond Positive Experience
WORTH IT
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, and I believe that’s true. When one’s eyes are impaired, hooded, baggy, or in my case, uneven due to Tosis (drooping eye) that window becomes obstructed. It affects how others see you, but more importantly, it affects how you see yourself in a mirror, a photograph, or simply catching your reflection in a store window.
If you can relate to this, run, don’t walk, to see Dr. David Samimi. He is a true healer and fixer, incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, meticulous, kind, caring, and gentle. He views every face as a challenge, and if you’re lucky enough to be in his office, he will stare lovingly into your eyes with such gentle intensity that you can hear the wheels turning in his brilliant mind: the possibilities, the plan, the result! He’s a true artist.
He corrected my Tosis in both eyes and, along the way, removed little bags and evened out my look without, at my request, removing my crow’s feet. I underwent the procedure without anesthesia for 3-4 hours in his office. I was sleepy and high due to a few delightful pills. That combined with his local anesthetics, made the process very close to pain free.
For me, this procedure was not about reversing time but rather preventing future drooping and doing some cleanup. Bags, Bleph, opening up my left eye while leaving all the wrinkles I’ve earned. Needless to say, bullseye!
Dr. Samimi has a fabulous office (I used the Encino location). His staff are all so positive, smart, helpful, and truly nurturing. The entire experience, from consultation to post-op check-ups, was mind-blowing and eye-opening. It made the swelling afterward (intense…not gonna lie) seem like a minor detail.
Dr Samimi is exceptional and I highly recommend.
