Permanent Indented Scars - I'm devastated
$4,000
I had an upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Jayaram 8 months ago and I have indented dark pigmented scars at the ends of my eyelids. I was left completely botched. I am so so sad.
I remember Dr. Jayaram mentioned she wasn't going to "close" my incision all of the way prior to surgery, so i could "bleed more and bruise less". It sounded like a terrible idea and I was right. I could care less how much I was bruised for a few weeks because now I am left with extremely noticeable scars at the ends of my eyes lids that MULTIPLE people have asked me about. It breaks my confidence. Not to mention, Dr. Jayaram has been completely dismissive of my concerns and just suggests gel, KNOWING it will not fix the indents. A good surgeon will not leave noticeable scars behind with a blepharoplasty.
I don't know how all of these people can write reviews and not mention this. If you go to Dr. Jayaram, she WILL give you noticeable scars because she won't close your incision all of the way and you WILL have to get a revision, unless you can just deal with them.
I have to get a revision with another doctor who will actually close my stitches. I am devastated to say the least.
