How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Cyclops eye, scarring & lagophthalmos after eyelid surgery

Results: Cyclops Eye, Scarring, Lagophthalmos. See photos for yourself. Taban does not use calipers, he does not take measurements: a sign of arrogance, and disrespect to the patient. My post surgery discomfort and pain was met with denial, he insists on his infallibility, leaving me to find answers with online support groups. Despite sending him photos and videos, he never once provided any practical solutions, simply stating that “you need to stop panicking.” I was diagnosed with lagophthalmos and severe dry eyes by another doctor, who recommended I use a guibor bubble. At this point I’m not even sure a revision is possible because Taban refuses to acknowledge anything is wrong so I’m not sure what happened during surgery. The surgical report does not say how many mm of skin was taken or whether fat or muscle was excised or where the crease attachments were made. His answer to me was “skin is attached to skin.” Please reconsider, do your research including past or current lawsuits. Regrettably, I relied only on his social media.

There are patients who heal slower than others. I have continoustly stressed importance of being patient with the healing process and not jumping to conclusions or jumping to additional treatments too soon or breaking the doctor/patient relationship with continued mistrust. You have chosen a different path and I wish you the best.
