I have been struggling with drooping upper eyelids for years-not a cosmetic issue but one that was affecting my upper eye pheriphrial vision.
I was referred to Dr Chia Hui Ling.
From the very first consult , she took the time to throughly explain what was causing my ptosis and set a completely realistic expectation abt outcome and recovery. She also referred me to a specialist eye doctor for the necessary eye checks to medically confirm my ptosis issue. She was very patient.
The day of surgery, the entire team ( with nurse Phyllis) was warm n professional. The procedure was done under local anesthesia with sedation and i was comfortable throughout.
Dr Chia was very efficient and meticulous in the surgery.
Recovery was smoother than i expected.
Some swelling and bruising for abt 2 weeks and was back to work thereafter.
My eyea are now 'bigger' and my upper eye pheripherial vision is so much better!
