Excellent Surgeon and Team!

WORTH IT
I had a bilateral blepharoplasty done by Dr. Lane and it has been literally life changing. She was excellent and not only can I see better having those lids repaired/gone, but my headaches have gone away and I look younger, more well-rested, and I look happier (no more of that concerned/sad appearing droop). I don't have to lift my head in order to see the stop lights anymore! Not many people have noticed, but I noticed a big, positive difference in my appearance and I have referred several friends to Dr. Lane for their blepharoplasty needs. She also takes cultural and ethnic backgrounds into consideration which was important to me (i.e. Chinese heritage). I'll post pics later once scars have completely healed. I would 100% recommend.

Here is my Before and After picture from my bilateral blepharoplasty by Dr. Lane. Surgery was done in September 2019 and after pic is from February 6, 2020. I am thrilled with the results! I would recommend her team to anyone thinking about having this procedure done.

Can u elaborate on procedure and healing time etc
..

Sure thing! What would you like to know about the procedure, specifically? I returned to work 9 days later- took that time to rest. Dr. Lane gives detailed post-surgical instructions and I followed them exactly. Lots of ice, rest, and time. They were minimally bruised for a few days, minimally swollen for a week after. The sutures were self dissolving so follow-up was a breeze.

very nice! I had mine done in Dec. I'm so glad I did. My prior lids and post procedure lids look very similar to yours.

How long did it take to feel like you looked normal? I'm on day 8 and I definately feel I look weird and swollen. Love that I don't have the hood but I sure look like I had work done with the long scar and swelling. :)

I looked back at my photos and I looked "normal" and healed around day 18. Make sure to keep it clean, iced, and rest. Take good care of yourself to promote healing- eat nutritious foods, no alcohol, and lots of water.

I appreciate you!!! I went in unprepared for 2 plus weeks healing because I kept seeing "back to work" in a week etc. Honestly it doesn't make sense it would be that fast plus I did deep fx laser on entire face, eyes and neck so I'm this big time. Your results are crazy good!

Did you have visible scars on the outer side of your lid? I still have mine at 2 months. Wondering if it will ever disappear.

I've read that some patients use a scar cream to help reduce the scarring. I have very minimal scarring that isn't visible to others. I have noticed it diminishing in the last few weeks more than the first few months.
