WORTH IT
Mr Qureshi is a very nice, polite man. He listened carefully to my concerns and studied the pictures I showed him very carefully.
He has made a beautiful job of my eyes, I feel he's taken 20 years off my face.!
I had upper and lower blepharoplasty , a difficult operation, and wanted an oculoplastic surgeon,
"a faces" only surgeon. My eye health was upmost importance during and after the op so felt safe with an eye care specialist who has more intense cosmetic training in eyelids than a general plastic surgeon.
I have included before and after photos. The after photo is only 2 weeks post op.

It takes one full year to see the finished result.
Here's my journey.
Its tough psychologically to go through. I had my concerns regarding the rim of my right eye. Ectropion I dreaded. It can happen with the transcutaneous method i choose. The reason a choose this method after lots of research was it gives the surgeon the full, open area below the eye to remove the fat bags thoroughly and smooth the area out properly. Its a once only op this way, so you want it doing right. But as Mr Qureshi specialises in the rim position i felt in good hands for ectropion not to happen and it healed
beautifully. My advice would be choose an oculoplastic surgeon. research what the operation entails. Know what your getting into.

I’m a 59 yr old man I’m in my 2nd month of upper lower Blepharoplasty I sill have watery eyes irritation & darkness I was hoping for better results at this point but I guess it takes time

with watery eyes it sounds like you have chemosis, inflamation of the surface of the eyeball. dont worry , this will go. At 2 months you are still healing. swelling takes lots of time to go down completely. This is why i said its tough mentally because all these worries can come.
Have you been to see your surgeon since the op? tell him your concerns ? irritation could be stitches dissolving. I asked Mr Qureshi to remove my dissolvable ones as they were irritating me. Not sure what you mean about the darkness though. Full healing takes 12 months.. believe me , i saw great results immediately though but i needs 12 months .

just another thought regarding your irritation. check you dont have any eyelashes turning inwards, this can happen and irritate the eye. try and move them away with a wet cotton bud perhaps. I didnt have this problem but i know someone who did.

Thank you for replying to me, also underneath eyes are numb , yes iv seen my surgeon & have another appointment in a few weeks, he doesn’t say much to me but he talks with his assistant then he’s gone

Ok. Yes my lower eye rims were numb too. Perfectly normal..remember the surgeon has cut through all the nerves and they again take time to re connect and they will. Suddenly you'll get feeling back here. In fact my lower lashes are very sensitive now if I put mascara on they are ticklish all your concerns are perfectly understandable that's why it helps to listen to others that have been through it. Your surgeon should have more time for you though as its private, expensive treatment and you deserve better. . But take some comfort in what I'm telling you. It will sort itself out given more time. Aside from these concerns, are you happy with the new look you now have? Early on you should see this. I saw my new improved look immediately after surgery. I saw through the swelling etc.
