Mr Qureshi is a very nice, polite man. He listened carefully to my concerns and studied the pictures I showed him very carefully. He has made a beautiful job of my eyes, I feel he's taken 20 years off my face.! I had upper and lower blepharoplasty , a difficult operation, and wanted an oculoplastic surgeon, "a faces" only surgeon. My eye health was upmost importance during and after the op so felt safe with an eye care specialist who has more intense cosmetic training in eyelids than a general plastic surgeon. I have included before and after photos. The after photo is only 2 weeks post op. Updated on 11 Jun 2022: It takes one full year to see the finished result. Here's my journey. Its tough psychologically to go through. I had my concerns regarding the rim of my right eye. Ectropion I dreaded. It can happen with the transcutaneous method i choose. The reason a choose this method after lots of research was it gives the surgeon the full, open area below the eye to remove the fat bags thoroughly and smooth the area out properly. Its a once only op this way, so you want it doing right. But as Mr Qureshi specialises in the rim position i felt in good hands for ectropion not to happen and it healed beautifully. My advice would be choose an oculoplastic surgeon. research what the operation entails. Know what your getting into.
Three ladies I know had blepharoplasties done by Mr Qureshi. Their operations went very well and free of complications with no visible scars after only a few weeks. Their operated eyelids looked natural and youthful; I was very happy for them. I shall need blepharoplasties myself in the near future so I had to check out Mr Qureshi for myself. I booked a consultation with Him and it went like this: Mr Qureshi was very pleasant and down to earth. He came across as an unassuming polite gentleman; very jovial with a smile on his face which I found reassuring. Mr Qureshi listened very attentively to all my concerns and was not patronising at all. In fact I took a long list of questions to Mr Qureshi and he answered them all to the point. I shall definitely go back to Mr Qureshi when I'm ready for my eyelid operations. I would recommend a consultation with this oculoplastic surgeon based on both other people's experiences and my own.
Hi, thanks for asking. It looks like part of the lacrimal (tear) gland is maybe enlarged or displaced. That can sometimes be normal, but if it's associated with the eye being pushed forwards, you should get a scan done, so I'd suggest getting a referral to get it looked into.
