How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I Was Experimental Subject with Bad Outcome
I can see why people say nice things about Maas. He has a great bedside manner. I went to him to see what could be done about the bags under my eyes, and then decided to take the plunge to have them operated on. Just before the operation, another young man came and introduced himself to me and said that he would be "assisting" the doctor in the procedure today. I thought he was the anesthetist! But no, he was a trainee surgeon.
Normally, when you are going to be a guinea pig in a procedure, you get paid. Instead, I paid full price to them for the honor of having someone practice on my eyes! I will not to into all the nasty details as it's too triggering for me. All I'll say is that I was left with one eye smaller than the other, and it's kind of droopy. Yeah, I was basically deformed. So, no, I don't recommend this practice.
