Day 6 update

I still have patchy redness on my face from the laser but it's slowly calming down. I feel that my healing has been pretty good considering how I looked only a few days ago.
The stitches are coming out tomorrow morning and I will be heading back to Vancouver tomorrow evening. I am happy to have the stitches out so I can see what my eyes look like and also because they are quite itchy and it's uncomfortable not being able to fully open my eyes. So far I am pleased with my recovery and excited to see my results!

Can't wait to read about your final result :-)
can't wait to see the final results thank you for sharing.
Glad to see you are doing well. I had pretty much the same procedure as you minus the blepharoplasty, and erbium laser on may 17 2022 at the same place. I did have the C02 and lateral canthoplexy. my face is peeling now but the stitches are driving me insane! What products are you using on your face? would love to see the end result!
thank you for sharing your notes. I, too, would be an out-of-town patient and have a couple of questions about that: 1) I do not know anyone in Toronto I could ask to escort me after the surgery--did you happen to know someone in Toronto to pick you up and, if not, what arrangements did you make? 2) Noting your wish to hide out for the first few days, did you stay in a hotel and would you recommend the one you picked? Thanks for any insight!
Just wondering if you are still happy with the results. I heard that after several months the eyes get smaller and was just wondering if you had that experience before I book. Thanks

Day 4 update

By day 4 most of the crusting had come off. My skin was still really red especially on the areas where I had the CO2 laser. I felt a bit more discomfort around my eyes today - not pain but more of a bruised or achey feeling, especially when blinking. I would say that for me at least the recovery was pretty painless without the need for any pain medication which was a really nice surprise!

Day 3 Update

On day 3 I noticed that quite a bit of crusting had come off after I did my morning vinegar soaks. My face was pretty red underneath. Some of the swelling had gone down and I still wasn't in any significant discomfort. I also felt in a much better spirits through the day and my energy and appetite had come back to some extent.
I feel like this day was a turning point in my healing since by night-time most of the crusting had come off and my skin was starting to calm down. The swelling around my eyes and face was also a lot better. It was really shocking to see the difference between the morning and night of day 3 and I was amazed by how much healing happened this day.
